I've been a Red Sox Fan for 64 years this year. Always happy when a season starts and I get to follow them. Since moving from Connecticut to West Virginia 31/2 years ago I dont get to see them on tv but i keep track as a member of Red Sox Nation and will as long as I'm able. Welcome Trevor look forward to you and the rest of the team going all the way.

@@DrewMcgough no really an extension. They just agreed to a deal to avoid going into arbitration hearing. The deal is just for this upcoming season. They still haven’t extend him yet, but I’m pretty confident they will

I appreciate that they clearly place character and being a good teammate as high priority in players they sign. I don't know him at all but he has a kind of Dustin Pedroia like quality to him.

I think you have daddy Chaim issues. Chaim will sign these guys if it makes sense. I believe that Chaim will sign both of those guys. They both have what Chaim is looking for. Everyone is taking Xander opt out as a bad thing when it’s not. Xander took a team friendly deal and I think he will be rewarded. I worry about winning a championship and see what happens next year. And if Chaim had been here when Mookie came up he would probably still be here. Dave messed up a lot for Boston not Chaim.

This was a great signing for a lot of reasons. Trevor is a great guy. He adds so much to the infield. I wish they could mix Trevor and Xander around between short stop and second base. They could make this team so much better.
Gonna be an exciting season! Not forgetting what the owners did to the fans during negotiations and all the lies and spin, and won't be buying anything baseball related for a long while but happy for the Sox and excited for the season!
I’m a Story fan and I wish him the best. The Rockies are really going down hill. Arenado left and now you’re gone. Don’t hold too much hope for the Rockies.
