The 105 LeFH18B2 arty is so OP at tier 5 that it regularly has more kills and more damage than the rest of the team! With an 8.5 second reload it can perma-track most tier 5 tanks and eliminate them in just a few shots! Unlike other arties the LeFH has FULL view range, so you're not going to sneak up on it like the others! WG will never nerf it because it's a premium tank, so the best we can do it get arty safe and cuss at it!
Tiers 4-7 are easily the most fun. Not because it's competitive, but because it's unpredictable. Also, Skill is the only person I know who can say "pure skill" after a lucky shot and still be correct 😂
Still remember tier v as a fun tier where even loads of free loaders made credits for the lack of premium tanks. Quite different to what you have today. It's derp territory + you are pretty much guaranteed to have lefh diseases every game. And to add insult to injury your average session battletier is roughly 6.5-6.8 so you get to enjoy +2mm disgustingly often. So in short they turned one of the tiers with plenty of historical tanks into a mess, no wonder people suck so hard, they can't learn anything in this environment other then "he good ammo".
As a newer player, I definitely agree with that last bit. Plus for me, playing the historical tanks was my goal. I'm not all that interested above tier 7
My experience on lower tier using arta was good enough, even i can one shot hellcat on their head, it's all happen until enemy from other lane make pressure and no one defending the base. And the arc enemy of arta is light tank that can charge without getting spotted by our ally
Arti the last 3 months for me feels like it got a massive buff back to the way it use to be I’ve been taking some massive hits from arti lately. To the point I’m take a break from playing for the last week
3-6 is best to me,most players still not have great crews or dont know maps well. That is reason why i have on Cromwell Steel Wall and Raider on AT2,games are somethimes just crazy.
Low and mid-tier arta, especially if you're playing anything other than a very beefy heavy, is absolutely ridiculous. Grille, Hummel, M44, SU-8, the Lefefefe, etc just do insane amounts of damage. As for the Chi-Nu, I remember quite liking it back in the day. It's definitely a support medium, but the gun-handling and decent-ish pen make it pretty okay as a sniper even as tier 5. Not the best thing on the field, but by no means bad. You do need to know what you're doing to the get the most out of it, though.
True @Skill4LTU, arta in the tier 4 to tier 7 is kind of dangerous, especially in tier4 and tier5. Arty like BirchGun, LeFh, Bishop and FV304 have crazy rate of fire and dpm, even so they need to do direct hits. Grille does lots of damage per shot, as the tier6 arties have. this dpm or dps gets the more dangerous when you compare it to tier 4 and tier5 average HP on a medium and even heavy. Scale this dpm/dps up like hp from tier 5 to tier 10, tier10 arta is weak. only saving grace for tier4 and tier5 arta is low to no stun they do
I decided to play TD tech tree, I had full health wolverine one shot by LEFH while moving. This is not helpful. Nearly every game LEFH is top player. why is this permitted by WG. Thanks Skill, well played games.
Man ive played this game for over 10 years and I have never seen what happened to the elc in the last battle. The arta killed both of his crew members and took him out without destroying the tank. The elc still had hit points 😂
This used to happen more back in the day. I can remember it confusing the crap out of me the first time I was on the receiving end...I could see that I had hit points, but couldn't do anything. The second time I knew what was happening. I haven't seen it in a good 10 years though, so it is definitely more rare now.
