The situation in the South China Sea is heating up after a violent confrontation between the Philippine Navy and the Chinese Coast Guard on Monday (June 17, 2024). The incident, which is by far the most dangerous escalation yet, has raised fears of a wider conflict in the region. Philippine officials allege that Chinese Coast Guard vessels surrounded a Philippine Navy boat near the Second Thomas Shoal, a disputed territory in the South China Sea. According to the Philippines, Chinese personnel threatened Filipino sailors with axes and swords, boarded the vessel, and damaged it with machetes and knives.

Thank you for sharing the news about what happened at the West Philippines Sea. We hope that the chinese military do not belittle the Filipinos. Because the Filipinos were the ones who captured General Yamashita, who triggered the Second World War. And the courage and bravery of the Filipinos had ended the Second World War. And so, if the Chinese Political Leaders and Military wanted to trigger a Third World War then they must think twice and think hard because they will never defeat the Filipinos; and can never conquer the Philippines. Chinese political leaders and military leaders should learn in history; that Filipinos do not like invaders of their country or any island in the Philippines. An example, until today, is the Battle in Mactan (Mactan is an island in the Philippines) whereby, Magelan from Spain tried to invade but was killed in that battle. How is it piracy when you are defending your territory that has been stolen by the Philippines? China defence of its territory was quite restrained. They could have used bullets instead of water cannons. The PH boat clearly disobeyed orders to stop and that's why they were surrounded and boarded to remove military supplies. India is acting as the West's proxy nation. China is merely attempting to subjugate India, and India has neither resources or military power to stop it. India already faces a number of internal issues, such as its highly divided populations, high unemployment rate, terrible hygiene, poor infrastructure from natural elements and mostly due to poor workmanship. In order to avoid unnecessary harm and stress, the majority of people would advise Indians to keep its delicate ego out of geopolitical games.
