Dame Vera Lynn will be paid tribute to in a special funeral service and flypast along the Battle of Britain route today.
The We’ll Meet Again singer, who died in June aged 103, will be honoured by a flypast before her funeral in Brighton, East Sussex.
The Queen made a reference to the national treasure's songs in her address to the nation about coronavirus lockdown on April 5, saying "we will meet again".
What time is the memorial flypast?
The flypast paying tribute to the Forces' sweetheart will take place at 12pm noon on Friday, July 10.
A hurricane and a spitfire, representing planes used in the Battle of Britain in World War II, will make up the flypast.
The planes will take off from RAF Coningsby, in Lincolnshire, and fly over the funeral procession while it is paused in Ditchling in East Sussex at midday.
It is not known how many passes they plan to complete.
There are only 12 airworthy hurricanes left in the world, two of which are operated by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight display team.
