I have been through more hurricanes than I care to remember. While they are extremely dangerous, there is something fascinating and beautiful about the raw power of a major hurricane. So my advice is get to a safe strong building away from the storm surge and try to enjoy the experience.

I am a Democrat, but DeSantis did a great job for over 13 minutes outlining the dangers, the assistance available now and after the storm. I couldn't help but think how Trump would handle the same situation if he were Florida's governor. It would have been awful. Thank you, DeSantis, for putting your citizens first.
