Thats weird i'm goofy but snowboarding can board switch about as well as goofy. I am also way better at snowboarding have been able to at least 720 for like 15 years, can barley 180 skateboarding lol
I heard the word park literally over 20 times in the first 2 minutes. It's crazy but now all the people doing good at competitions never even skated street and just parks cause they're everywhere. Lucky but also easier.
Felt really weird to me too. I was ONLY a street skater 🤣 Only park I really skated growing up was EPIC. But now kids even have a bunch of badass street parks. Lucky lucky
How do the courses work for these skateboard competitions? They make a dope concrete course just take it down? I dont know but the cost it takes to make the course must be way more than the purses of the skaters?
lol at tyson zane. i actually used to have something like that going on when i was growing up too. i normally pushed and skated goofy because it felt the most natural to me. but it felt more comfortable for me to pop the board and do tricks regular for some reason. so i would drop into ramps regular usually. but on street my normal stance was pushing goofy. it was a pretty shit habit to break honestly felt at first it felt like i was trying to learn all my normal tricks switch until i got used to doing tricks goofy i guess i couldve just learned to push regular but my feet werent havin that shit, i still have trouble pushing switch not mongo to this day lol. but hey i got a pretty gnarly switch flip out of the whole ordeal so im not complaining.
dude Gavin Bottger's 1st run is insane ... and to think hes only 11.. this is like watching nyjah houston all over again.. cant wait to see how much he grows and develops as a skater in the future.
Seems like some skaters that are in 2nd should be in first the judges need to score people's runs better Tate the 13 yr old should of been in front of the 11 yr old after his 2nd run
Forsure I 100% agree. Only thing I think he could have added was some sort of a decent grind like a smith or feeble. Especially if it was lengthy then he should of took it.
No one knows more of childhood trauma than getting a skateboard that represented the size of Noah's Ark, trying to pull an Ollie, when all your leg and body weight is needed to just tip the board back. Yeah, that skateboard saw more of it's 4 wheels to pavement than air.

“Keep getting equal for men and women”? What is wrong with young girls that they constantly think in such terms? What does her comment even mean??! Women and men will NEVER EVER EVER be equal In skating. Men didn’t make it this way. Men didn’t oppress women. There’s never ever been anything to stop women in skating. Period. There is biology. And there are biological differences. You can’t make women men. You can’t make women like everything men like. Not even all men can skate or even like it. This idea of making women equal in skating is dumb. Women skating now whom like it should be grateful that there’s not a ton of women skating. Why? They have more opportunities with less women involved, first off, and because you probably wouldn’t like skating with as many women as men stuffed into a skatepark all at once. Stop taking reality for granted ladies. Be happy! Do what you want. Stop tangentially blaming men, via dumb comments, for things that don’t exist that you all seem to want. Men didn’t do shit. You joined our world. We’ve always welcomed you all. But we’re not gonna slow down so you can feel better about yourselves. So get over it. Let the boys do their thing. Softy Skate Generation.....Its nice society is being cooperative with skaters....My Generation created the No Skating signs in the 80's and we only road REAL STREET and BIG vert ramps....Insurance companies made parks and ramps 4' high not the SKATERS of the time, we road...16'-32' wide....16' tall with 2 foot vertical ramps.
