Retro indie pop band Brigitte Calls Me Baby stopped by for a Live & Direct Session on Friday, May 10. The Chicago band passed through Pittsburgh and stopped by WYEP for an interview and songs from their new release This House Is Made of Corners.

I love how Wes takes all of his influences and makes them fresh. And the band rocks. The acoustic versions are cool, but I love hearing them kill it on their album, "The Future Is Our Way Out". ❤❤❤❤❤

Im not sure why people like these, I mean the guy was an Elvis impersonator, he then gets his own band and copied Morrissey . Not sure that is very authentic - if he wants to be taken seriously, he needs to stop copying Morrissey moves and poses

You can choose not to enjoy him and the band, but there are so very many people that do - more every day. I played them for my wife, who is not a Moressy fan, she is a BCMB fan now, though.

I didnt say i didn't like them, I think their music is ok but it has limited value of all they do is copy . Its ok for the first LP. Oasis got away with it because Liam , althought a Ian brown knock off, was still himself , in the way he did things
