Thank you to everyone who took the time to watch this interview with Judy. She’s a brilliant attorney and brought me on to simply tell the truth. A lot of you guys have some really interesting and hateful thing to say about me, which is fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I’m not a reality television star. I’m sorry if some things I said may have been offensive. I wish everyone who watched this peace and love. I’m just a guy that got unfortunately wrapped up in this and it took a lot to come out and speak about this trial. I’m not for everyone I get it. Hopefully the justice will get served and whether or not you believe me, that’s ok. This has been a difficult thing for me, but like I said. This isn’t about me. So for all you haters that want to critique me, good for you. This is way bigger than me looking like an idiot to help shed light on this horrible case. I did this to try to help. I was nervous and I did my best. Thank you Judy for the opportunity and I hope that this ends sooner than later and Ruth and Phil can finally sleep. #justicefordanmarkel
You did great Ryan. It was fascinating to hear your perspective and history of your friendship. . You're re a stand-up guy and I wish you nothing but the best life has to offer. Thank you ❤
What does Ryan mean when he says ”he had NO idea” and at the same time he says ”we knew…” When Charlie was traveling he advised “don’t come back, you’re going to prison, it’s extremely obvious what you have done” How can he say those things and at the same time say he had no idea? Can anyone explain?
When you’re friends with another, and you see changes in that person’s demeanor overtime, you can wonder if what you are hearing and seeing may, in fact, be true. We don’t know everyone’s secrets. Arrests started after May of 2016, and he saw a change in Charlie.
@jennyraphael5843 easy to explain. Ryan is a complete liar. Charlie not charismatic for normal people but for Ryan he sees it this way bc Ryan is a low life.
Not sure you can trust what this guy says. First thing he makes it seem like he doesn't know Wendi wrote a book then made a comment that shows he did know. Sketchy! He also knew Charlie was guilty but continued to hang with him and didn't go to the police.
Yes, I have watched his interviews on a few channels and the guy is shady. He is also a bigot He is not very smart and thinks the awe shucks college guy schtick is fooling people. Lol, alot of people on here and other interviews seem to like him but all I see is bullshit and red flags. I don’t think he had anything to do with murder but he is into shady things and now wants to act like he was a boy scout
Wendi was most definitely the smartest person in the room. Everyone around her is either dead, brokenhearted, fatherless, or imprisoned for life. That's an art.
Great comment. That is an art. I am still not convinced she had a direct part in the conspiracy. I do think she was able to manipulate her mother and brother to commit a murder. Then she set them up and made sure they would be caught. There is no other excuse why she would mention her family in the police interview. Who does that? She made millions from her ex-husband's murder (even if it's for her kids, that money is for Wendi and absolves the financial burden of having children). Wendi will ultimately be the sole beneficiary of the significant Adelson estate. I knew she was purely evil when I listened to a podcast where she was mocking her posthumous ex-husband with her ridiculous, evil "latex husband" commentary.
@@Curt-t2rThis is EXACTLY what happened. She was even in “ good graces” with her husband Dan prior to his murder & Dan wanted to meet her the day he was murdered. She knew that once the cops pull her phone records they’ll find nothing negative between them. And I doubt that Dan was that horrible to her.She ‘s a psychopath & they know nothing about love.
In my opinion if this man was a good/honest/respectable and trustable person he wouldn't be friends and mix with someone like Charlie Adelson. We are not friends with a person that has nothing in comun with us. The cars, the "maestro" in his license plate, the neverending number of women, the adoration of money, the vain personality, the fraudulent ways etc, would put off any decent possible friend, let alone best friend.
No one should judge anyone being in this situation. Having to testify against someone who once you considered a close friend, and not knowing the facts of what happened until later. I'm wishing you well, Ryan. And much peace and love to the victim's family. 🙏 Justice will prevail!!!
There are a few things that don't add up, particularly at 1:09:27 and onwards when someone brings up the topic of steroids. Both Ryan and Charlie (in his prime) appear to be fairly muscular, and Ryan's denial of Charlie's alleged involvement in the steroid business looks sketchy to me. While Ryan seems authentic in many parts of the interview, this final segment doesn't sit well with me at all, especially when his alleged buddy mentions the work "steroids".
I liked Ryan’s testimony in court. He was so believable and funny (under such terrible circumstances). Lawyer: “Charlie likes to talk?” Ryan: “He does indeed.” 😂
It like Ryan stated if you telling the truth and innocent you need no lawyer I say the same ppl always say you should have a lawyer if your lying and have something to hide you do I’m with him if I’m innocent have nothing hide why you need a lawyer thank you Ryan it I’m with you with that !!!
@@iveliserojas612obviously not in this case but innocent people are found guilty a lot and if the police think u did something and u didn't, a lawyer is definitely helpful.
Him laughing at the disabled person in a picked costume tells me he loved the idea. My hunch tells me this guy has more in common with Charlie than he wants to let on. Anywhere, just my unpopular opinion. Now, do we think Donna is going down next?
This guy went to the Philippines with Charlie….. Charlie talks about the young woman from there…… Ryan must have an idea of what Charlie was up to there
I don’t believe Ryan didnt know what Charlie was doing with “ Underage girls ( otherwise known as children ). As he says in another video. I hope he also didn’t engage in that moral and legal crime - as he claims.
I was hoping you’d ask Ryan what led up to his beginning to suspect Charlie was involved in Dan Markel’s murder. (Ryan went from saying it wasn’t discussed at all-that the Adelsons just carried on “like ‘Whatever’”- to a few minutes later stating after the initial arrests he told Charlie something like “It’s obvious you did it.” Wasn’t there anything in between?) Thanks to both of you for this interview.
@@BONG101-x5u I caught that, too. He should not have known about Hiawasse Springs or whatever the name was supposed to be. One minute he says Wendy was hot, the next he says she was not special. I can see people saying he's a likable guy, but I think he was trying too hard to win Judy over. Not sure if she really bought it, but I doubt she'll confirm. 😀
Ryan is real. Re the book he saw it on TV/internet just like me…just enough info to know what she concocted up. But it was her life. I won’t give her the satisfaction or notoriety of reading it either. Good job Ryan!!
This guy and other friends of Charlie were telling him to not go back to the USA because they knew he was guilty. If Charlie didn't start the lawsuit and cut off the money, would the friendship and loyalty have continued? This guy is kind of shady, IMO. Not that he's a criminal or that he is any way culpable for Dan Markel's murder, but not somebody I would want to have a friendship with.
Judy: Have you read her (Wendi's) book? Ryan: She wrote a book? Moments later he is detailing the plot and names specific parts of the book. This guy might have a bit of an issue with the truth. Not surprising at all that he was friends with Charlie.
I think he was joking. Also, since he has been watching this channel, there are multiple videos and livestreams discussing Wendi's book here, as well as on other channels like True Lifestyles.
this is what I couldn't understand...to make $2 million + per year just did not make sense as a periodontist. I think he was including all his investments in that income, and possibly exaggerating.
Regarding Ryan’s negative comments on a specific religion (trying to dodge censorship), I’m of the same religion myself, I even live in Israel, and I knew right away those were not anti-certain-religion remarks. They were anti bad-guy remarks. I’ve experienced enough in my life to know the difference. If Ryan met a good guy of the same faith, he’d like him. It’s not the faith, it was the guy.
Jeff Lacosse by meeting Charlie a few times figured him out to a tee, he also figured out Donna and family dynamics but was temporarily blinded by Wendy because she was beautiful on the outside he was caught up in the what I call the Delila syndrome like many..
Omg… I so disagree with the Ryan is a great guy?? How could we see things so differently. He also was Charlie’s friend when he was up, and abandoned him when he wasn’t a party guy, not because he learned he was a murderer.
@bnarli8745, exactly. This entire interview, he was constantly virtue signaling, speaking of how he found the murder for hire as disgusting. There’s no way he could have been Charlie’s roommate and not have known he was a bad guy. He might have not been involved in the murder, but CA lives, and has always lived a sinister life. We’re all the company we keep. Sharing a residence? No way CA’s shady, unpalatable, way of life was unknown to Ryan. We’re not stupid, Dude.
He's not making a good impression on me. Not because I don't believe him. But he seems to be a bit immature for his age. But of course his giggling and cursing just could be nervousness. Anyway, who am I to judge. That was just my first impression after hearing the interview for only 25 minutes.
He claims he didn’t know any thing in one comment because they never spoke about the murder and then said he told Charlie not to come back to the United States because he was going to be arrested. They all knew..
As I’m listening to this friend of Charlie.. he says that he knew nothing because no one talked about it. Then a few questions later, he mentioned being out of the country and saying “ man if I were you, I wouldn’t go back.” That tells me he did know more than nothing. Thanks Judy for doing this interview with Ryan.
That doesn't mean that he knew something. He said that he suspected that Charlie was involved after Katie was arrested. He said that Charlie was acting paranoid and anxious after Katie was arrested
I'm kind of sick of fanci's unchecked "sources"... The way she talks, big ups herself, and name drops other random creators like she's famous or something has been super weird lately
Fanci is brilliant. She has to talk about her experiences because it is what makes her that brilliant. It is hard to do what she does while getting kicked down by people who in my opinion should keep their negativity to themselves. She shares the creators in my opinion for us to know other resources. If you haven't made a youtube channel you most likely don't understand how hard it is to maintain it.
I find it super weird that she posts june and the baby momma so much. They are innocent. Yes, June can be dumb as a bag of hammers BUT she didn’t murder anyone. The way she has internet bullied them, distasteful to say the least.
@@zpaolapb this is a murder case! We are not at a ballet. Unfortunately, these are misguided people who support the murderers. Or if not, they find something human about them after almost 10 years of seeing them walking around with blood on their hands. Fanci knows humans don't kill humans. It's that simple. This is about one deceased person Dan Markel.
Who the hell is fancy? And who the hell cares who she us anyway? Just another nobody like everyone else. Nobody's special or we are all special! Whichever you choose to believe. Lol who pays attention to every question some broad on here asks? Get a fricken job.
So they never talked about the incident and he didnt really know about it but then they all knew, they told them to stay out of country and Charlie called him daily for 45 min a day to talk about the incident? Anyone else confused. Im hoping the times they were out of the country wasnt the times they were on their minor sex trips but I worry it is.
This case gets more interesting by the day. Thank you, Judy. And thank you, Ryan. Facing the public in court (twice), national tv, and on this channel is tough. Wishing you the best at putting this behind you and moving forward!
Which one? He trusted him? He knew he was a murderer… a long time ago, he told him not to return to the us because he would be arrested… what are you people talking about?
I agree . Wendy is the mastermind, she knew how to play Donna and Charlie. She knew complaining to her mom , playing the victim , knowing she would tell Charlie, and want to keep his mom happy , take care of it
Totally agree with you, if it wasn’t for Wendi, this murder wouldn’t have happened. She was the total mastermind, and her crying , kinda hyperventilating, was so phony, she would be crying , and then talk and laugh , it was just ridiculous when she called her mom and was able to be talk to her mom without breaking down crying, that’s real hard to do when you call someone that is that close, to relate information like that without crying , anyways, she needs to be arrested
Ryan, don’t be so hard on yourself because none of this is on you or your fault. Wishing you lots of success in your future and appreciate this interview.
Are you cuckoo? None of it was his fault. He was his bff, they were in business together. Then he stole from Charlie. Crooks hang with crooks. He’s also an anti semite who when up against it, slurs his bff to get out of repaying money.
@@ryanfitzpatrick1473 Ryan, If I could offer you one piece of advice it would be to not read these comments. People are aholes and it's not going to do any good to reply to them. It's not like you are all of sudden going to talk some sense into these people that are trolling you. You did what you thought was right and I think your witness testimony was valuable to the prosecution.
@@ryanfitzpatrick1473 Why then when Dan asked you if the lawsuit was dismissed because Charlie was in prison you said you didn't know and didn't care or something to that effect. At no point did you give the reason you noted above.
Seems to me Charlie picked friends that were like minded. This guy is liking the attention he’s getting from being Charlie’s friend. Watch and really listen to what he’s saying. He stayed friends with Charlie knowing that Charlie was responsible for Dan’s death. Telling Charlie to stay out of the country so he wouldn’t get caught. Now this guy is mad at him about money more or less. He’s just as bad as Charlie, he’s just not as good at being bad.
Judy, you never disappoint and I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. Ryan came across as an all-around likable, good guy. I love you won him over above the rest. 😊
Charlie was exposed as making sexually inappropriate comments out in the open and using dark humor often. He obviously is a creepy little weasel who probably got handed everything in life and probably lied his way through everything. I question anyone’s character who would be friends with a person like that.
Hilarious when your friend banged on the door then said something abt steroids!!! 🤣🤣🤣I bet y’all have some great times and great laughs!! Love on your new rescue for me! So glad he found a furever home💕
Did anyone else catch the "shared beach love shack" part of the interview? I'm sure he and Charlie would spend weekends at the beach "fishing", so to speak. Lots of wholesome good times, right? That story felt gross and predatory to me. This guy raises all my "predator" flags.
I felt that when he was on the stand yes if you hang out with Charlie I would not have any respect for you , the things Charlie was doing to women just gross the buddy system is where my red flags are going up .
You can tell he is a genuinely good dude. Just horrific timing to come across someone like that in your life. I can't even imagine having to deal with that harassment 24/7 of being through the ringer with someone who committed such horrific acts. I feel for Ryan. He shouldn't be getting any sort of hate, at all. He did what was right and went through years of Hell to assist in this investigation.
He starts off with the most incredible flex: he moved to Miami because "40 of my closest friends were there". Think about that: he has 40 close friends! Do we feel inferior yet? He and Charlie were close friends for many reasons: I kind of like this guy, but he's sketchy. He vacillates between extreme Southern politeness and crude vulgarity and rather gauche attitudes (I.e. his comments about Thailand).
Amazing RU-vid video! 👏👏👏 I do understand how difficult it must have been for Ryan to discover that one's best friend is a narcissistic psychopathic murderer 😱😱😱Unfortunately, you rarely discover that you have been surrounded by a narcissistic psychopath until it is too late. This unfortunately applies to the victim, professor Dan Markel, who was killed by his ex wife and his ex in-laws, who had planned this horrific murder down to the smallest detail. The entire Adelson family probably suffers from the personality disorder narcissistic psychopathy, otherwise they would not have been able to commit this cynical murder. May the victim's family find peace when all guilty persons sit behind bars for the rest of their lives ❤️🙏❤️
🤔🤔 I get that Ryan is trying to clean his image by separating himself from his time spent as Charlie's friend, but it sounds like they have alot in common. 😢
Dude got his 15 minutes. Hopefully we won’t have to hear him ever again. He straight up threw a racist insult at the host, and doesn’t even get it. And she let it go. I’m out with both of them.
Very interesting to hear someone so close to the Adelson’s, particularly Greasy Chuck, talk so openly, no filter, not on a witness stand. Thank you Judy, and well done. Between this interview and your recent video re-tracing Wendi’s detour to the ABC Store, you’ve really provided us with unique insight into a case that’s been covered ad nauseam for nearly a decade.
WENDI drive to ABC was waaaaaay cool. Completely out of the way. It is like she could not help herself, she just had to drive by the murder scene to see if it was done BUT no one told her how she was supposed to act AFTER the fact cuz they are all sociopaths they did not realize you SHOULD have immediately confirmed kids by sight by phone by demand to see them. Even her real estate agent ONLY concern was for those sweet boys
I believe Wendi and Donna really went over the edge upon learning about Dan going after Wendi, filing the fact that he could possibly get her license taken away and the sanctions he was gonna put on Wendis attorneys. She was facing losing her livelyhood, her job, income and status.
Hi Judy Thanks so much for interviewing Ryan and thankyou Ryan for giving further insight into the Adelsons and answering so many questions, it was very interesting.
Don't believe for a second he made 3.5 mill as a freelance periodontist. He had all kinds of shady side hustles. Remember how he'd get out of traffic tickets by lying that he was an ER doc?
Wow!!! Lot of People WATCHED ,and Thanks to RYAN FITZPATRIC,so many of us was so Eager to Hear from him, because he is /was Charlie Adelson s Friend, and he DID so Well in the Witness Stand .WITHOUT BOND ,That’s Sweet.
I suppose we can use those racist/homophobic statements he made to show that he offers a very unfiltered view into the highly filtered Adelson family. I don’t imagine Charlie had many refined and well-mannered friends that knew him as well as Ryan. So, I think we must set aside those comments he made for the greater good.
That family only care about themselves, period. Jealousy is what drove them (Donna, the driver of that circus train) to hate Markels; Markels are smarter & better. They (she) couldn't have THAT around her grandkids.
Judy- another awesome get! I liked Ryan on the stand but I adore him now. He was shoved into an awful situation and I believe he is handling it well. Humor and honesty - my twos favorite traits in a person. Great show Judy, as always!
I never thought badly about Ryan, my mom who took me to murder trials in Los Angeles also loved going to movie sets and met a woman she befriended on a set who had actually murdered her husband but told my mom and others it was a home invasion, they all believed her and had no reason not to. Fast forward a couple of years and my mom and I are on our way to a murder trial and my mom says "Oh btw the defendant was a friend of mine" lol "but I didn't know the full story and I definitely fell she's guilty now". The woman got life with no parole, I have zero doubt of her guilt just as with Charlie.
Judy, as I listen a second time, I find him even more interesting after hearing Bree tell Charlie, on jail call, that"Ryan is hitting her up now" lol 😆
Great interview Judy ❤ It was nice to hear Ryan speak. I’m sure he’s happy he will never have to deal with with Charlie Adelson again. #JUSTICEFORDAN …continues until all responsible for his murder are held accountable.
The guest speaker stated that Wendy is brilliant and definitely the smartest person in the room! Yet, she graduated from law school and didn’t know common legal terms, lol? I wonder if he referred to her being the smartest, when she was the only person in the room?
He suspected Charlie was involved in the murder in 2016 but stayed friends for 2 years… a bit odd … remember he’s not into Asian girls… says some bizarre things… likable but some contradictions in his personality at times… not quite sure what to think about that guy
Judy, you deliver such amazing analysis and content about this case. You, katiecoolady and fancifiction are my go to a long with STS. You all have displayed such care and compassion and endless intelligence about this case and I appreciate you all so much. This case means a lot to so many people. I'll look forward to any other cases you provide analysis on in the future. Glad I found you. And also this was a great interview. Ryan seems like an okay guy and I certainly appreciate his candor. No one is the worst thing they've ever done and certainly not the worst thing they've ever said in a fit of anger towards a man who is highly provocative and shady. (I'm talking about Charlie, for anyone who needs an explanation.)
@terripetre8159 if that’s what you think you’re brain dead. He isn’t funny & he not bright. Lied. 1st said he didn’t know Wendi wrote a book & 3 seconds later he new Hiawassee Springs. He’s a lying sos.
1:14:21 - The guy shouted “I JUST WANT MY STEROIDS”. That is the truth. Look at Ryan, he is a steroid head and to say that “my buddy is making fun of me” is a BLATANT LIE. His demeanor changed immediately when that guy shouted that! Ryan, tell the truth. You do use steroids and it shows. You just became angry.
Not understanding the being so defensive of June. June is clearly very materialistic and that is her business BUT trying to retract her previous statements and her telling Charlie HBD during his murder trial was beyond distasteful!!!
Says he couldn’t have had a substantial relationship with Katie, proceeds to defend his friendship with Charlie. This guy needs to grow up a bit and take accountability.
@@michaeljaffee-eo6mr , it’s never too late to grow up. Although, most people do stop growing at a certain point, so I don’t have much hope for this guy. He’s probably gone as far as he’s going to.
