Den Svarte Metallkatten nah man. Pretty sure most of his fills are double and his blasts are singles. Based on what I’ve seen on his channel. Getting double that loud and consistent is mad difficult. This dude is a beast
You know what, I’ve been watching you for a long time, since that video about your strange double bass technique explained and I’m glad you’re now getting the recognition you deserve! Absolute machine
I’ve been playing for over 50 years. Long ago I discovered that it’s a lot more even in sound and style to play faster fills using double strokes instead of singles. It takes a little more effort to use the doubles as far as technique but you apparently agree that using doubles is a good thing for fills. Well done. Keep em coming!
I'm sorry but wtf happened to this band?! Kolossus was a Masterpiece and the following two albums were a joke, sorry- they were. How do you go from Gods to Peasents? What happened...?
Seriously? I love Reptilian and Epistemology! Tracks like Dark Divinity and Dragon Iconography are absolutely killer, or if you prefer it a bit faster check out Universal Core.
@@wanjanechtangroeger I'll check out those songs. It's not just about speed, it was the song writing that Made Armada, Through Times of War and Kolossus masterpieces. You can even add Reclaim to that list even tho it's not a full album. End of the day it's just a matter of taste, we are all different. But I'm pretty sure the new albums cannot touch the ones I mentioned.
@@PSpiel8861 Don't get me wrong - I love the old albums! But when I ignore the nostalgia I just have to admit that the newer songs often have more complex and well thought out songwriting. Also much more groove.
