Saurav as president made a mess of the finance, administration of Indian cricket did not won any ICC tournament , IPL & never won any worldcup or trophy (other than natwest & championship trophy 2022 & Border Gavaskar india trophy ) as a captain & as a player. India has only won when there was a good bcci administrator (president secretary & selector ) and a calm composed coach and captain. As captain Kohli has failed in white ball captaincy not in test (check stats and impact) but as an overall cricketer in all formats Kohli stands behind Sachin & beside Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Kumble , Azzrudin, Dhoni , Ashwin , Zaheer, Bumrah, Rohit, Jadeja in all formats. Check the stats, record both as a captaincy not in top 3 Indias best captain (win %) and as cricketer not even in top 10 in domestic, league international in India or outside) . Saurva's popularity is only limited to West Bengal, Delhi and London, Rest are known worldwide cricket nation. Study a little about language courtesy ,sports, administration, before commenting on others sports. 😊

Well lets hope for best from Gambhir but if his guidelines are gonna create ruckus and factions among Indian national cricket team then definitely we don't need him in the squad even at the risk of changing the entire BCCi's leadership board.
We dont have any more experienced players to promote as a captain in t20 format or after rohit and kholi retires andbits time for coachbto take the advantage and responsibility to make a call and menter and groom new captains. SKY Gill are not even having 4 years of international cricket experience after making a debut and dont have experience playing all roubd thenworld to make their own call. So it's a new era where coach is way more experienced than any player.
You guys are talking rubbish... in India coach does not select captain. With Agarkar there this will not happen. Example of Football is wrong, there coach is bigger than captain all along. But in cricket and in India it was the captain who call shots.... if coach will try to become bogger than we will have a situation like Greg Chappel.
