I highly recommend holding that router with two hands when you do that, especially when removing that much in one pass.

Yea we probably should have it worked out this time but it not a standard I would recommend because it could go bad the reason it did for us was because even though it looked like a heavy pass it was only for the first 1/4 of the board because of the twist so the motion wasn’t very far but your right definitely better to use 2 hands

nice! how long does a slab like that need to dry after milling before you start on it?

I bought mine kiln dried so after I flattened. It I only had to wait about a week or so
