The scene where the Terminator removed his eye was not stop motion, it was animatronics.

The birth of John Connor is called bootstrap paradox, but sending back the Terminator caused not only his existence, the creation of Skynet itself too, the AI getting developed from the chip in its head, according to T2.

They say A.I. is going to RADICALLY change the world in the next decade, so you might want to familiarize yourselves with more of the great A.I. classics. "2001: A Space Odyssey" and these Terminator movies are the most well known, but this somewhat forgotten one took the idea in a pretty freaky direction. >>> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8dWy5LD2jyA.html

So, what's "80's acting" like?
@ReelTakesMovieBreaks
@ReelTakesMovieBreaks Месяц назад
Certain actors have a distinctive style of acting in the 80’s that’s a bit more elevated than modern day naturalism
@ReelTakesMovieBreaks
@ReelTakesMovieBreaks Месяц назад
Here’s an essay to explain more 😂 The 1980s style of acting and modern-day acting differ in several distinctive ways: 1. **Performance Style**: - **1980s**: Acting in the 80s often leaned towards a more exaggerated, theatrical style, with heightened expressions and gestures. This was partly influenced by the carryover from earlier decades where stage acting techniques were still prominent. - **Modern Day**: Acting today tends to be more naturalistic and subdued, focusing on realism and subtlety. Performances aim to mirror real-life behavior more closely. 2. **Dialogue Delivery**: - **1980s**: Dialogue delivery in the 80s often included more melodramatic and stylized speech, sometimes with an emphasis on quotable lines and catchphrases. - **Modern Day**: Modern actors often deliver lines in a more conversational and understated manner, emphasizing authenticity and relatability. 3. **Character Development**: - **1980s**: Characters in 80s films were sometimes more archetypal, with clear-cut heroes and villains, and less focus on nuanced, multi-dimensional personalities. - **Modern Day**: There is a greater focus on complex, flawed characters in contemporary cinema, with more attention to character development and psychological depth. 4. **Influence of Directors and Trends**: - **1980s**: Directors like John Hughes and Steven Spielberg influenced the era with a focus on high-concept films and blockbuster hits, often requiring actors to fit into larger-than-life roles. - **Modern Day**: Directors today, such as Christopher Nolan and Greta Gerwig, often seek performances that fit into more intricate, layered narratives, with a focus on character-driven storytelling. 5. **Cultural and Social Context**: - **1980s**: Acting styles were influenced by the cultural and social milieu of the 80s, which was marked by a certain flamboyance and optimism, reflected in the acting styles of the time. - **Modern Day**: Contemporary acting is influenced by today's diverse and complex societal issues, leading to more varied and introspective performances. 6. **Technical Advances**: - **1980s**: Special effects and technology were less advanced, often requiring actors to rely more on physical performances and practical effects. - **Modern Day**: With advancements in CGI and other technologies, actors often work in front of green screens and use motion capture, demanding different skills and approaches. These distinctions reflect broader changes in filmmaking, cultural trends, and audience expectations over the past few decades.

I've noticed Biblical allusions in this film. Notice Sarah has a Jewish name and is dressed, portrayed as virginal and inexperienced. She's going to give birth to a savior of humanity. The number on Reese's arm is reminiscent of the concentration camps.
