I did a live video on FaceBook flying over the Rodanthe fishing pier during the current Nor'easter. The winds were closing in on 50mph.
As soon as I figure out how to do a RU-vid Live video I'll do it there.

Stayed their in September. We walked under the pier and went up on top. Such a beautiful area.

The OBX doesn't even notice when the wind is 50 mph!!!! Common there....Beautifully frightening....A big blow just puts us all in our place....This pier has had many repairs and replacements...We all realize our vulnerability..

You're a brave soul flying in that. I believe you can do live feeds with the newer firmware on Mini 2 or Air 2. I don't think its available for the older drones. I could be wrong.

I took the 4pro Advanced up today, I know where it crashed in the swamp grass. I'll retrieve it when the wind dies down. 😁

I am thinking about getting one of them for this reason. I currently have 5 pro's and 2 mavic air 1. I may have a sale to start switching over. I also want to maybe get an Swellpro SplashDrone 4 for flying in the rain.

@@Altitude12 I've seen the SplashDrone in review videos but do not know anyone who actually has one. But, I guess its the one to get if you plan on getting wet.

@@DavidLorenzoFlorida It's a little pricey. Close to 3k with the camera and all. I've also seen vids on making your drone water resistant. That may be the direction I go.
