13:05 I love Argos. That was the first niche fragrance house that I tried, just a couple months ago. I bought the sample pack, and went through it and picked my favorite scent, and ordered a bottle of that. I chose Bacio Immortale, but Adonis Awakens was in my top three, I think. I really love the "Thrill of the Chase" one and also Love Triumphs over War. Bacio Immortale smells almost identical to Tom Ford Tuscan Leather. I didn't know that until after I bought it, but I've seen how expensive Tuscan Leather is since then, and I'm happy with my purchase. I think it's versatile and use it for the office or just going to the store, or when I was seeing my lady, when we'd go out. I love the sweet tart raspberry scent that compliments the pink peppercorn and leads into the richer leather and oud scents. They have the fanciest presentation that I've found so far, only comparable to Xerjoff. They both have really nice, leather wrapped cases and bright, vibrant boxes with quirky illustrations. Bacio Immortale was literally inspired by a painting of Cupid, so it has that whole story included, and I think that's a nice touch. It reminds me of Penhaligon and their Portraits Series of fragrances, like "The World According to Arthur", for example.
I got a good deal on Azzaro The Most Wanted at Sephora a few days ago; I think it's still available. I got a two pack of 10 ml travel sprays, including The Most Wanted Parfum and the newer Intense EDP for just $35. I had tried the parfum, and already knew I love that, but just hadn't bought it yet. The 100 ml version costs $125, so that's $1.25/ml and this travel spray I got was only $1.75/ml, but I did have to get the Intense EDP too, so that could be the reason they have this set, to get people to try the newer one. I think they actually charge like $100 for the 50 ml bottle, which is actually more expensive per ml than this set.
8:15 I bought a 100 ml bottle of LOVERS the day it was released. I could send you a little decant of it to try. I haven't smelled Le Labo Santal 33, but I would imagine that this is similar to that. It definitely has a sandalwood scent, and I've heard people say they don't like Santal 33 because it smells like pickles, and I have noticed that scent in LOVERS too, at least at first. I got Nuit de Feu last week too; I definitely like that more than LOVERS, but they aren't really similar. I really like LOVERS so far; it's pretty much like sunshine in a bottle. I'm not sure if I would wear it alone, though. It seems way better layered with Pacific Chill and Ombre Nomade and a spray or two of Attrape-Reves really makes it pop. I could definitely use Nuit de Feu or Ombre Nomade or Pacific Chill on their own. I haven't been reading my phone notifications or RU-vid notifications or anything the last couple years, so I'm not ignoring it if anyone replies to this. Things have been tough the last couple years, and I really haven't been coping well.
Jeff glad you're transparent about getting them sent to you for free. Seems like there's a lot of kickbacks lately and nobody wants to admit that before a review.
5:38 I haven't tried any Amouage fragrances yet, but I've been wanting to try their new Quentin Bisch one, Guidance 46, because I like his other ones a lot so far, from Paradise Garden to Good Girl and its flankers.
I haven't tried Hugo Intense but I actually bought Hugo Extreme and it's just like the original Edt but it's a little bit spicier, more potent and it's an Edp! I got it from Jomashop for super cheap!
Upset that I bought the original Gisada! 🤦♂️ It is to spicy for me! Not sure what note is in there but I can’t stand it! I use as air freshener to clear out strong food smells! 🤣 Worse blind buy of recent, I expected it to be a “tropical Sauvage” but I cant stand it! lol
@@hannahabulhawa1567 black is more of a cuddly date night late night type of scent. One you spray on skin & clothes. Prada Ocean EDT is that anytime any occasion fragrance. One of my biggest compliment pullers. Both are good in that regards, just one you can easily wear more often
@@hannahabulhawa1567 yeah, I’m not really into extreme. I don’t think it smells bad, I think it’s nice. But it’s really only a winter scent. And it’s their worst seller. Which if you only listened to RU-vidrs you’d think it was their best. A good winter scent. You’ll get more use out of all the others though.
@@SoCalScents Do you think Spicebomb extreme is overrated on youtube? I cant find many women on youtube that like it that much. Is it a must have? Also what do you think of Sauvage elixir? Better than Spicebomb extreme or up and down?
@@hannahabulhawa1567 I own Spicebomb, Infrared, and Extreme and I find the original Spicebomb to be the absolute best and most complimented. Won't recommend their expensive flankers.
