I love how the whole band is so emotional while playing this song and that rob looks like he feels so honoured to play this song in cliff's place. I just freaken love it i love this band
06:22 One of the most touching moment of this clip. A fan fascinated by the beautiful harmonies of the Metallica. His facial expressions need no explanation about his feelings. Great moment.
Been to 5 Metallica concerts...always wanted to see Orion and Sanitarium...they did Sanitarium at the last 1...can't believe they did orion in seoul 15 years earlier
This is my favourite live version of Orion, and there are plenty. Lars nails the drumming, Kirk's solo-which he play differently every show- is his best; and Kirk's harmony with Rob during the bass solo is incredible.
I think he mostly sticks to original now, but back then he did go all over the place. Sometimes when I'm nervous in a solo I tend to stick with a scale and just go free roaming too😅
Whit this Song i was Falling in Love with MetallicA! Now 4 jears Later I´m a Heavy MetallicA Fan! Go on MetallicA **Rest In Peace Clifford Lee Burton** Awesome Tribute!! Greatings from "East"Germany
Robert is trying to start the bass solo too early.. twice. But I understand him... I would be pretty nervous to go on stage and play that solo, plus the fact that its played as a tribute to Cliff Burton.
you can see the sweat on the fretboard o.O best quality! ..''God bless Cliff Burton(Rob is clapping along with the audience=respect for The Dead Bassist)''..
God bless Cliff Burton, God bless Metallica...thanks for everything you did Cliff...thanks you Metallica for everything you're still doing what you do...Rob is as good a fit as any after Cliff in Metallica...Jason and Cliff will always belong on stage with them, but Rob can handle it by himself and does an AMAZING job...he's probly the most instrumentally talented person in Metallica right now
i think that metallica should play this song and anesthesia pulling teeth in a only concert for a tritube to Cliff Burton R.I.P, i'd pay all my money for to watch it!! good song :D
Metallica good performance of the song Called Orion performed live in 2006 it’s been eighteen years since you heavy metal guys performed this song live for the first time in its entirety
He doesn’t fuck up at all here actually, he actually adds a lot more to the song than one the original recording, and does it all while staying in time. An average drummer can’t do that
