Lauren I’m an old ICU RN. I had a patient, he was around 25 years old and was a photographer for the newspaper. He was onsite at a house fire and collapsed due to an aneurysm. When I cared for him he was unresponsive and on a ventilator. His pupils were “blown” meaning they were fixed a dilated. This was such a heartbreaking situation, he and his just had a baby, and he weighed heavily on my mind. I think this was a God thing but I suddenly recalled a study using music to awaken comatose patients in an ICU setting. I told his wife to bring their boombox (don’t laugh) and his favorite CDs (or tapes). We positioned the boombox next to his bed and played the music nonstop (mostly). It took some time but he WOKE up! He walked in to visit us months later, just amazing! One pupil was still blown but he said he could see out of it. Music has amazing effects, it can makes us smile, bring us to tears, make us jump around and dance, and perhaps awaken the comatose. It’s worth a try for your dear brother. ❤️

So pleased Tammy’s aunt can speak on her behalf, someone needs to!

I hope Tammy’s aunt feels the strength of the many people who feel her pain holding her up when she speaks at the sentencing.

That story about Tammys haircut made me tear up. She did all the right things and tried to raise kids,work and had a lot on her shoulders where Chad seemed to depend on her making ends meet rather than taking those pressures onto himself. Just very angering 😮

I’m so glad that since Tammy’s children have forsaken her that she will have her Aunt and other family members represent her. I hope every day her children will realise who their father really is.

This is super emotional. I'm so glad she's going to be able to speak on Tammy's behalf.

Vicki is a wonderful woman. She has suffered so much loss, but shows so much compassion. It is great to hear that she can speak about what the family has lost. Lori will hear the thoughts of those who lost loved ones due to the actions of Chad and Lori.

My husband and I separated after 35 years! It has been 3 years and my kids and I can’t believe that we were duped by there dad’s character! He was a minister too! I say this because there is no comparison to the magnitude of the truma the Daybell kids are going through! It will take them years to come to terms with what has happened! Losing a mom is horrible and to know your dad is responsible is just to much to bear. Just numbing! We just have to keep these sweet children in our thoughts and prayers ❤! Thank you Vicki .We will be holding you up in our hearts as you make your victim statement! Thank you Loren, love you and Dr Johns channel! But y’all are just a lovely couple in so many ways!!

I hope Vicki will tell some of her Tammy stories when she speaks in court. Especially the ones that show what a super mother she was. This will do more to honor Tammy than any other statements she could make. The personal stories let us see the real Tammy and know her great value. And one day, maybe the stories will be appreciated by her children and held closely in their memories.

As a woman who has fought cancer and takes daily chemo I choked up when Vicki was talking about the talk under the tree. I pray for each of them to have strength as they walk through this journey to protect Tammy. Mad respect. I also pray that her children search the truth, only then can they really move forward honoring their mother.

Soooo pleased Vicky can speak for Tammy. Many of us feel Tammy must have a voice at the Lori Daybell sentencing. ❤

From all of us that say we are so sorry for your loss…..If this dear woman only knew how deeply our collective hearts have bled for these victims, maybe it would bring her some comfort. God be with you. Love you and your dear family.

Vicki, if you see this I want you to know that you are doing such a wonderful thing, it needs to be done! Lori is a monster and she needs to hear everything that you have to say! Don't worry about it too much, you have the protection of our Almighty Lord and you have angles surrounding you! Tammy will be with you in spirit now and always! I commend you for speaking up for Tammy, she just seemed like a loving, caring, and hard working Mom. She has light in her eyes in every photo!

I cried right along with Vicki. So hard. I'm glad she will be speaking in court. A breath of fresh air, after all the gibberish from the Lori and Chad show.

Must be devastating for Tammy’s sister to see all of Tammy’s kids supporting their father. The killer of their mother.

Such an odd law that Aunts, Uncles, & grandparents can't give impact statements but In-laws can. I think this law should change in Idaho!

That’s pretty gross Tammy’s children didn’t go to their grandmother’s funeral. That they felt that it would be “choosing her” over their killer father if they did. They’re way too grown to be acting like that. They’ve dishonored their mother time & time again and they keep getting pass after pass for it. When are they going to finally stand up and do what’s right for the memory and dignity of their mother?

Vicki !! You ARE among friends. I am so so so relieved that you have been able to have Judge Boyce understand WHY it is appropriate for you to voice a victims’ statement on behalf of Tammy & your sister. I am so sorry for your loss and the tragic nature of the circumstances that were thrust upon your family. I will be here through the sentencing of Chad.

this is like the most basic, straight forward, factual interview anyone has ever given. Such normal useful information that’s not overly controversial or revealing, just helps to understand how all of this really went down. Great interview

Tammy and her children have been victims of Chad’s sick delusions for a very long time. My heart aches for all that have been hurt by Chad, Lori and Alex’s sick, twisted actions. It is great that Tammy’s aunt and other family will speak at the sentencing. Although it is sad that Tammy’s children will not speak, I realize they are victims too. How horrific it would be to accept who their dad became. So much pain and suffering for so many many people 😢

God bless the family for making sure that Tammy’s voice is heard at the sentencing. At the very least, Tammy deserves to be heard.

Could we please stop making excuses for the callousness, utter selfishness and cruelty of the Daybell kids for not providing victim impacts statements and NOT attending their grandmother's funeral?? Clearly, according to their collective "warped" minds, providing any statements would mean they would have to acknowledge their father's guilt Heads up their asses, DISGUSTING

I have LOVED hearing the stories about Tammy .. working with her / scones, hair cut / coming into her own, the wonderful, engaged mother she was to her children. I am much more at peace, a void that was ‘Tammy’ is no longer a void. Oh my goodness, she knew Lori prior to all this horror. Wow! I sure hope she hangs that on Lori in her victims statement .. wow. She was meant to speak at sentencing. Much love and respect to Vicki!

I'm so happy someone is speaking for Tammy. I really was hoping at least 1 of Tammy's 5 kids would speak for her. It makes me sad that her kids would not speak on her behalf. She obviously loved and cared for all of her children.

All we are so happy to see Tammy and then we all went to say how heartbroken we are over the whole situation . Tammy sounds like she was Such a Great Person, Mom, Sister. We all have a huge place in our heart for Tammy because she was unfortunately forgotten about through a lot of this process.

Vicki I agree- it’s absolutely scary about men living double lives. I survived seven years of domestic violence and being cheated on (unbeknownst to me until the end), and I will never trust anyone to have another relationship again, much less to bring into my home around my children.

Vicki - I am sorry for your loss. ❤ I am sure Tammy would be so thankful for you giving an impact statement. The word ‘impact’ is so appropriate but, I like to think of the impact that Tammy made on this World. I know we all are going to focus on the loss of Tammy but, hearing these stories of Tammy’s life just made her come alive in my mind. I’m so happy Tammy still has a voice to tell these beautiful stories about her life.
