If Maddie had stated that she wanted to go live in the woods when she was 13 run away from home do you find it odd that she was murdered and then her body was found in a wooded area a day or two after she turned 13 do you think that through grooming he psychologically prepared her that he would live with her
While I appreciate your empathy, I have to disagree. We don’t know what Jenn’s “trauma” was but assume it must be SA. Jenn’s trauma is she’s lazy and doesn’t want to work so she works the system. She pimped out her daughter. She knew. Please explain how a mother bathes a six or seven year old girl and doesn’t notice SA? This is not every rhetorical question. I actually am looking for an answer. She rented her daughter out. There will be pics to prove it. Women who survive SA don’t let our children in any situation that could end in their being raped. We are kinda funny like that. Again, you assume her trauma is SA. What if it’s DV? That would change your theory. What if her trauma doesn’t even exist anywhere but on her disability paperwork?

What gets me angry is that Madelyn’s mother was protecting the monster boyfriend instead of her daughter, so she should be held accountable for neglecting her daughter and the thought of her sending her teenage daughter to go to sleep with her boyfriend is so ugly so she gave him cart blanche anything for her boyfriend how selfish can she be.🤥
Dr is right. Sadly this is very very common where young kids and teens shows clear signs but the adults chose to ignore it, they see it, but they chose to do nothing. Rip maddie
I'm only 14 mins in & tears are flowing. This poor poor young girl. She must have felt so alone, so frightened, so worn down & unwanted. My heart breaks for this poor young girl. Shame on everyone who should have protected & helped her & did nothing. Another young life gone instead of being loved, nurtured & protected by a parent!
I’m a single mom and no boyfriend of mine would be sleeping in a bed with my daughters regardless of how he treated her. Regardless if he was a parent of his own kids. They are not his kids so not necessary.
If she needed “some good sleep” why didn’t she have her daughter sleep in the other room and have Stephan sleep by her. This is not a mother. And you can’t tell me that none of these other roommates did not see or notice anything. Stephen doesn’t strike me as a cunning person. I’m more protective of my dog than she was of her daughter.
I’d like to hear from the grandmother about the party. Did grandma have it because she felt bad her own daughter wasn’t doing her job as a mother? Did Jenn ask her mother to have the party so at least Maddie was acknowledged? I want to find out who DID acknowledge this child!!!! I’m glad at least grandmother had the party. Stefan needs the death penalty. Jenn needs life behind bars for participating in the death of her child and handing her over to her abuser/killer.
Um so her bf and her daughter were sleeping in the same bed? I mean come on !! This lady knew that he was messing with her daughter. I can’t believe she is not being charged. What a POS!!!!
This case really has affected me. Teachers are mandated reporters counselors are mandated reporters. Why weren't these people asking these questions they should have been. So many people failed her...😢
I started this and just couldn’t finish. It’s too hard to listen to, made me physically ill to hear details. 😢 I do appreciate the work you are doing to give her a voice! They need to prosecute the mother too. I’m beyond disgusted by all of this!
Is it possible that Jen didn’t want to lose Stephan so bad that she overlooked him sleeping with Maddie, because she said they hadn’t been intimate in over 6 months?
1:29:54 thank you for bringing up a parent have a child for unconditional love when it’s the parents responsibility to love their child not the other way around. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard I’m going to have a child of my own who will love me unconditionally.
I am 50 this year, my mum was a narcissist & my upbringing was challenging. I didn't matter, all that mattered was her, her wants, her needs. She would tell me right up until she died 3 years ago she had me for her, she wanted someone to love her unconditionally. I vowed to NEVER be like that with my own children! 2 are adults now & have said to me I am nothing like she was which was music to my ears. I don't understand how anyone can have a child & not protect them with their life!
