We had the amazing opportunity to perform concerts in Wales with renowned Welsh Triple harpist, Robin Huw Bowen during our recent UK tour. We thought it would be fun to collaborate with Robin on a couple of pieces for our concerts in Wales. This is our first jam session of a medley combining a traditional Welsh song, Ar Hyd y Nos (1st) and our arrangement of the Doctor Who Theme (2nd). This was filmed spur-of-the-moment by our mom on our phone, so the video and audio quality isn’t the best. However, we hope you enjoy this jam session with Robin!

About 5 years ago I started on my dream of learning to play the harp. I worked on my lessons very had at my starting age of 60. I never played an instrument since since elementary school. So this was a big challenge for me. I taught Industrial Arts, wood shop, for 41 years. The BIG tragedy happen two years ago. I had an accident on the table saw and cut off one finger and damaged another on the right hand. So seeing you two play together brings tears to me. You two are soooooo FANTASTIC and talented. When I feel down, I put on a RU-vid of you two playing. You bring me so much joy to see you WONDERFUL two playing together.

What can I say to that? Sisters with Harp Wings? Or sisters with the Wings of Harps? In either case when I watch Camille & Kennerly play, it always seems as if they would soon fly away on their harps, since those electric harps actually look like wings when played by them. Of course they would have to hold them close to each other in order to fly, since each sister has only one "wing". They are simply ethereal when they touch those strings and seem transported into a magic world of their own. Is that world populated by fairies and trolls? It seems so... but also by something more: talent and passion.

The term "Jam" as it relates to music is not one I would have ever thought to use in describing anything atall to do with the harp.... until I started watching the Kitt sisters. At first it may seem like a gimmick but, when you watch a few videos you soon realize that these ladies aren't thinking outside the box. They set the box on fire and danced in it's ashes.👍🤘

Ahhhhh,Dr. Who theme (love that!). Been a Whovian since I was a young lad in the 70's with Tom Baker riding around in the Tardis ^_^ Great session overall,I enjoyed it :-)

Absolutely awesome performance,girls!,i saw you play this on the Welsh TV show,not that i understand Welsh but music is a universal language and i just had to watch you perform on there,even in an informal setting like this you always give 100%!,i know the first tune by the English title "All Through the Night",we used to sing it at school as our music teacher was Welsh.

AHHHHHHH! Wonderful, m'dears, and what a great opportunity to play with Mr. Bowen! That first one was also translated into a popular tune, "All Through the Town," 19th century I think; and, I LOVED hearing the Dr. Who theme done this way! (Been a fan of the Doctor literally since John Pertwee took over the role! Long time ago, eh? Haven't seen anything past the Matt Smith episodes; my telly blew up, and I didn't bother to get a new one, so -- that's it. Besides, most things worth seeing -- like Harp Twins videos -- are on the computer anyway, right? Well there we are. Oh, and hats off to yer mum; both audio and video were great.
