I grew up listening to them in the 80's. I loved their music, try Fates Warning. They were similar in their musical styles. Just wish things would have been better for them. They deserved better. Tribe to me was the last good one with Geoff on vocals.

Beautiful cover. The song kind of holds a special place in my heart... my son had been born via emergency c-section, really wasn't expecting him to survive the night. I was trying to keep things more light-hearted for my wife and had gone from the hospital out to get snacks for us, and I was barely holding it together myself. When I turned the car on, this song was on the radio. It really was what I needed then.

I remember when this song came out it was like the 80s rock ballad of them all , this band sort of paved the way for Guns and Roses a few years later , just one of those perfectly written songs great job!

OMG! This song... I have not heard the original in over a decade and yet it was such a huge part of my youth. The emotional wave I'm feeling crash over me right now is so intense because this version is gorgeous. To me it is familiar and yet completely new simultaneously. Silent Lucidity is my favorite song of all time, easily. I could hear the thunder crash as you all played even though it was a beautiful day. Thanks for this.
