[Live] JL Audio Training About TW3 Car Audio Thin-Line Subwoofers 

Oh man! That looks familiar at 52:40! Thank you guys for sharing, had a blast on that project and the amount of bass from that single 10TW3 was insane!

In my personal vehicle I used three TW3 10's and an RD 1500/1. I used the recommended ported design tripled the depth of the enclosure and port width and fit all three on the face of the enclosure. Although the enclosure was deeper it is still a really small box for three 10's. I gained lower end extension but lost a little punch. I added in external bracing and doubled the front baffle. I fit this perfectly on the shelf in the trunk of my 2018 Ford Taurus made a beauty panel to flush it all in and it looks great. This set up gets down most people think I have huge subs in a huge enclosure. But really it takes up the space of two normal 12's in a sealed enclosure. I have to thank Eric Cole for going over my enclosure design and checking to make sure the design was going to perform the way I thought it would.

Ever since I got my license and first car in high school, I've always wanted a nice system, but ended up using low end/cheap equipment. I'm new to the high end car audio scene. I'm the proud owner of two 10TW3-D8s. I researched several companies before deciding on purchasing from JL Audio. The training videos have been instrumental tools to help me understand the fundamentals of audio, what products suite my needs, and how to correctly use products as they were designed to be used. The 10tw3 will be the next subs I will be purchasing. The air space requirements and shallowness is what got me. Heard them already and I like them.

After having used these I was seriously surprised at both the output as well as the extension that they had, and even in such a small enclosure! Amazing work, guys, really!

Up until this episode the Proper Amp Setup video was at the top. I’m using a TW3 in my ‘06 Nissan Xterra to eliminate the need for a big box so I could still haul my mountain bike and gear in the cabin. Works great and love the sub. Great info. Keep up the good work!

Amazing sub for under or behind truck seat. Quality and sound is what I expected from JL. If you need a good sub and have limited space, this is a good choice.

Jl Audio hands down have always been my favorite across the board for sound, for power, and all around very efficient no matter what your playing. Would love if you guys brought back some amps and subs like do a limited retro run that would be awesome. Love my 2- 10" TW3s paired with infinity kappa components everything ran by JD 1000/1 & 400/4 amps....hoping my box has has enough air space for a 3rd sub.

can't wait to get a pair of 12T's in my new Honda Passport. Have a pair of the 12W3v3's now in my Accord. Hoping for as much or more bass matched with the new VX series amp.

I have this sub. In comparison to the two 8W3s I ran before, worlds different. I love the new low end power I gained. Problem is I’m still unfortunately powering it with the same XD 300/1. Saving for a 500/1 or maybe a VXi (hint hint 😏). Thanks for the great vids.

I recently purchased 3 of these 10tw3-d4’s to run in my Toyota Tacoma quad cab. I will be running an hd 1200/1 on them. I’m anxious to see how they will sound!

You guys do amazing presentations that are both extremely informative and interesting but they would be so much more effective, efficient and enjoyable if Kevin would only be able to curb his tendency to incessantly interrupt the presenter with his stories.

I have 2 12tw3 with a slash 600/1v3 and i love them and also i have 2 10tw3 enclosures with a hd750/1 on a 1999 gmc sonoma regular cab and no space and they hit really hard i become a jl audio fan i love the products and wouldn’t mind upgrading amps if i had the chance

Being the cooling design uses airflow thru the cone how do these work in the can am x3's. You guys make stealth boxes for the can am but side by sides go thru deep water often. Wont water go right thru the cone and ruin it?

If a vehicle has a stealthbox made for it, would it be a better choice for structural rigidity over the ProWedge?

Can an installer place feet on the box so it can be downfiring?
