“Unfortunately, I was *also* born a weapon. To be destroyed… is our destiny!” Such a downer quote that still somehow sounds optimistic in Firefly’s words. Most people would understand it as an endless cycle of violence, while she interprets it more as a “from dust I rose, to dust I return” philosophy. War haunts her wherever she goes, but she just *shrugs it off* and has fun regardless! After… murdering her targets in cold blood, that is…
This video make me love Firefly even more, she is a truly a inspirational character with a beautiful symbolism, but i think she is more like a kamen rider than a power ranger, unless the other hunters are hiding their morpher
Deep dive in tragedy of war and transience of life, and thus finding a way to live as magnificent comet between the star, burning selfishly and selfless Yeah, I absolutely love how artists implemented falling star in her design as a metaphor - Sam’s ultimate, Firefly eyes and even colour palette references both fleeting symbols in our culture - shooting stars and their alive counterparts, both shining brightly in the night sky Thank you again for the video, always pleasant thoughts of others upon character design
I crushed your thumbs up marker on your post. Fabulous post, Star Rail Crusader. Keep the outstanding work. Looking forward to see more creations from you.
Just a little note. Super Sentai is a specific franchise within the bigger Tokusatsu genre, which also includes the Kamen Rider series that more directly inspires Firefly (look for the Rider Kick). Other than that, excellent job as usual. Watching your videos always makes me appreciate the design of these characters more!
I think you're confusing Super Sentai with Tokusatsu, since you keep using Kamen Rider images. Super Sentai is not a genre. It's just one series among the Tokusatsu genre. The scenes that you keep using are from Kamen Rider, which usually features a solo MC, and even if there are other Riders in the series, most of the time, they aren't a team. And unlike Super Sentai, instead of wearing a spandex, they wear armor.
