Sometimes wildly popular tools can be used to explore unconventional ideas. In this case, the HX Stomp's surprisingly deep and flexible ecosystem lets us explore some less-common looping concepts.
Functions like Feedback and Replace are hugely powerful tools. But many looping devices - including the stock HX loopers - don't have a Feedback control, and even fewer offer Replace functionality. So in this video, we take a standard delay effect, and go step-by-step as we turn it into a live looping platform that makes Feedback and Replace (and some other related techniques) very easy to explore.
