Thanks for all the love here. Had a bit of a shaky feeling concerning this video where i also have to talk . You can download these patches. See the link on top of the comment section.
Hey, no worries. You proven your bass skills more than enough on this channel. (Wish I would be as good as you) But I admit I imagined your voice totally different 😂
Cheers and thank you greatly for sharing and showing us some amazing possibilities with the HX Stomp. Good to hear you and very understandable (you did great!). ((ALSO! That filter sound is amazing!!!)) Thanks from the Pacific NW!
These patches sound great. Im starting to see folks, like Rene, Ian Allison, and Janek, who once they dive in to the HX stomp, they are able to get some crazy amazing sounds.
Yeah, Ian is a master of the HX Stomp. He's really made me want to get one. They seem like an insanely useful tool for recording if nothing else. I imagine the guitar sounds are great too.
I am one who of those who already have been convinced by Ian and Janek... and now Rene is confirming it again. Great sounds, good ideas to cobine. If you buy one, you better plan enough time per day to nuddle around and build preset... 😂😂😂
@@ralf6300 It sure looks like you have to spend a lot of time to get familiar with what many of the "effects" do. Ian demonstrated an OC2 type sound and it was composed of the Boc+ fuzz+chrous, not very obvious, but it sounded great.
That's always been the case with these digital stuff, yes? Presets sounds bad and I always tweak my own. Are people stupid enough to buy these and just presets? lol Turn the knobs and use your ears.
it's great to finally hear your voice, Rene!! i would pay money to get a copy of your patches to use and study. they all sound amazing!!! your playing is just the best! i always love it when you play on the reviews!!
he gives you all the jist you require for most of them - definitely more of a showcase video. I dont need this but seems pretty easy to program based on how we see/hear him use it. No lie unless you don't have the effects he mentions, you probably shouldn't buy this because you have more to learn about programming patches. Stuff is kinda heady tho! But everything he said I would feel comfortable building my own version in Live. So if you have this pedal take the principles he talks about and see what you come up with! only one way to learn.
Awesome tones man! Really inventive use of the momentary option for that extra effect. Great stuff. More of you please and get those tones on a market somewhere!
he gives you the fundamentals as a starting point, ez pz I wish I had one of these to mess with rn, but you can use anything as long as you have a harmonizer, octave pedal/plugin, etc.
Ive been on the fence about the HX Stomp for bass lately. I mainly want it for amp and cab sims. I was going to try the Origin Effects BassRig Super Vintage, but now im heavily considering the HX Stomp especially since i would get much much more than just amps and cabs.
Really enjoyed Rene's video though wouldn't want to see Gregor out of a job! (lol). In fact, it might be nice to have Gregor having a quick chat with whichever bass player is in the video, discussing the featured piece of kit.
It's a beautiful machine if you know how to use it; otherwise, it's just another multi-effect. The difference is made by third-party IRS + internal pre or amp.
Would be great :) looking for something small that has all the essentials (tuner, overdrive, chorus at least) for easy plane travel. Always struggling with the luggage and this one looks promising
