Maryland cops are like this for the most part. I was pulled over for going 80 in a 45 (it was an off ramp, and I had to speed up to merge because the guy in the lane sped up not letting me merge) and got pulled over. The officer smelled weed (friend had a roach in his pocket from the night before in NYC) and he said straight up "throw the roach away boys and we won't have a problem". He didn't even give me reckless, just a speeding ticket.

Ken Weed is much more subjective than alcohol. Anyone who's done both knows that alcohol messes with your coordination way more. Plus when you're drunk you get a little bit overconfident, when you're stoned you get more paranoid. Obviously you shouldn't drive if you just did a massive bong rip 2 minutes ago, but any good stoner knows how to drive stoned safely.

Maryland cops at their finest. Got caught with a lil bit of weed during beach week (3.5 grams) and all I got was a civil citation. Didn't get put in handcuffs or treated like a criminal. Took my $20 grinder tho 😢

Andrew Alarcon first off who wants to lose their weed right? Second it was not in plain sight it was in the bottom of my center. I could not find my registration when he first walked up and continued to look for it when he went back to his car and when I disturbed it while looking through the center that's when the smell came pouring out and is why he did not detect it at first.

Yes it should. You can't drink and drive or even have an open container. This dude had a loaded pipe which tells me he had the intent to smoke wile driving. A guy got fired at work for smoking while driving a semi and told me awww...it should be legal man. Well beer is legal but you can't drink that at work or while driving a semi.
