Not that was on camera. The entire investigation takes more than 4:28. I'm sure they investigated it during the interviews. If not on scene, then at the hospital. Not everything makes it into the show.

A neighbour down the street a few years ago killed a man with a stab to the kidney and got the book thrown at him, now, they were both unhinged psychos, but the media left out the little detail that the guy was defending himself from another adult running at him with a metal pipe because he told them to be quiet. Neighbours can drive you crazy.

That is a great idea! But A&E probably wouldn't let the show go; I assume it brings their network a good amount of viewers, as this is the only A&E channel I watch. Bringing this or the show COPS to netflix would be awesome

They didn't arrest him, they detained him until further investigation was completed. They said that IN the video. Not everything makes it in the video. We have no idea what the outcome was. You're welcome to look it up yourself.

When it's you-said- vs- they- said with no witness, they have to go by the evidence. It probably was self defence, but if you attack first with a weapon, cause a bunch of injuries, and don't have a mark on you, your going to get charged.

ash 098 no they can’t. They actually can’t have any weapons whatsoever in the rig or in the station. You have to think, they get a lot of psych patients.... that’s asking for disaster. Emts are there to help the wounded, cops are there for further protection. When one starts doing the others job for them it becomes messy. There are certain circumstances ems is not allowed to go on scene until cleared by law enforcement, if they aren’t comfortable going into a scene or moving forward without law enforcement they can also stand back waiting for them.

For all of the comments defending the guy that got arrested did you even watch the full video? They will have investigators come to investigate what happened! Since he did the more damage, he's going to be held until further investigation. If it turns out he was defending himself he will most likely have his charges dropped. But since none of the police officers or any other witnesses were there except for the victims they will have to investigate both sides of the story. But since he did more of the damage he is going to go to jail until they find out exactly what happened.

Quick PSA from an edged weaponry expert: I own twin Fiskars curved machetes, which, being rather stylized, are de facto short swords. The blade style is very reminiscent of a falchion, and using a Makita metal grinder, managed to sharpen the back edges. One swing each cleanly halved a pig carcass. As with firearms, don't wield a well-maintained machete _at_ someone, unless you intend to _open them right tf up..._ It is an extremely dangerous, even deadly tool. Mine are for self/home defense only, and for his sake, I hope that is true for the gentleman in this clip. He could face something more serious than simple assault with a deadly weapon.

"Self defense": you can not attack first even if you know you are in danger. You can not use a superior weapon to have a better chance of surviving. Guns are oit of question even if the attacker have a gun You can not shoot the attacker unless you are dead. If you fire a shoot at the attacker, you are the criminal and he is the victim. You are not allowed to protect yourself in anyway shape or form.
