by far this might be Tigst ASSEFA hardest win. The course record is inevitably going down, maybe low 2h14min.

Assefa has a chance to be the undisputed woman marathoner. Break this record and win Olympics and she will be UNDISPUTED . But those Kenyan women will not make it easy for her. It seems Jepchirchir is only working for Paris and may not feature here.

Mary Keitanny record will not survive this armanda . Assefa should win this. The pressure is on her to deliver. Kosgei and Chepngetich have to hang on to her and hope she can be caught. Just looking at the hair styles Jepchirchir is not coming for the win or to podium.
