The word moksha comes from another word which means free... Moksha is freedom from the cycle of birth.... Death is conciouslessness... Each time one gives up on something its a death... And each time one finds a new purpose its a life... Moksha is freedom from both by realising that I(the ego) does not exist... Like a macine does things but cant be said free will...in case of humans its probability of equally likely choices...Everything is just processes happening and we assume it as I due to the attachment with our body for existence.... From here two philosophies re born... Those who dont consider an absolute truth exist they say there is no particular purpose of life... Its all random events happening... Like buddhists... Those who believe an absolute truth exists then that truth must be consciousness as the material world is just like a dream for the consciousness, it does not exist in reality but consciousness experiences it as real.... Also the absolute truth must be all knowing, as nothing can be outside it... Since only consciousness exists...So it must know what is it to be person a or b... Else it is not knowing in true sense.... Only One consciousness exists, which has dissociated into many because of its infinite knowledge to retain it or be all knowing at all time , it needs to be concious of all of it .... There re two levels of existence one material or apparent... And the other is the metaphysical or the eternal.... But the common things is that material world functions by processes governed by some laws... the metaphysical existence too is a process of the interplay of the divine attributes of Allah... The difference being the assumption of the atoms of my body as myself, is a Lie as it was there in this world... But the knowledge and attributes of Allah always belonged to him alone...
