Dr. Swails is the director of ORU's Center for Israel and Middle East Studies. He earned an A.B., M.A., and Ph.D. in history from the University of Georgia as well as an M.A. in near east studies from Brandeis University. He has been nominated as a Who's Who among American Teachers for multiple years and named as one of the top 50 Christian leaders.
