Hi Ben! I want to apply for an F1 visa. After my bachelor's, I studied for a master's but I realized it was not suitable for me and I was not interested in that. So, after three years, I changed my field of study to another master's degree in which I discovered I was passionate about and from which I am now graduated. I have a fully-funded PhD admission from a high-ranked university in the USA, whose program is similar to my master's thesis but improves my skills to finally become a professor in my home country. Does that incomplete master's affect my visa approval?

you are correct i gave them short answer i think that is the reason they refused my visa because i saw lots of videos they told you need to give short and specific answer

I had my visa dropbox on the 15th (Friday) on the 18th it showed updated and created on the 18th and the status was Refused. On the CGI portal shows Passport received from consular section and is being processed for delivery. In such a situation what can I expect ?

Kindly Help.. I was refused a visa because my i20 was not updated, the information about the assistantship award was not mentioned on the I-20 form. I have been awarded a full tuition waiver and a stipend, the visa officer said if I wanted to reapply again for this semester I must ask the university for a new i20 and change the circumstance (I had presented the verbal and the official offer letter to the visa office during my interview).. Hi Ben! I am an F1 visa applicant and my interview is scheduled August 17, 2022. I couldn't schedule for interview with my dependents (spouse and child) but I included their information in my ds-160 and I have filled their ds-160 form. Please Ben can I still go for the interview with them? Can the visa officer allow them for the interview? This happened because the Bank desk officer told me that dependents do not pay for visa. I tried to explain to her and she said that their information will only be in the ds-160. But I have paid for them already. The point is that they are not scheduled for interview with my own and I want to come for the interview with them.
