I just wanted to comment that I really enjoy your site and love hearing Jill's stories on her life. I totally agree with your religious views - you are right on target! I also go to an Evangelical Free Church and our pastors are expository teachers. They will occasionally do a subject or something like that, but then back to the Word as it was written. I also like your choices of ministers. I would like to add one that I found online. He is Shane Idleman from California. He is excellent and he is bold and he is balanced. God bless all of you and have a Merry Christmas!

In the vein of speaking of your father, i have been so impressed with the kindness and fondness you have when you speak of him. I respect you guys speaking the truth, but not in an unkind manner. ❤ you all!

Hi this is Danielle.... I'm 27 and when I was 22 I needed a heart transplant unexpectedly I had an infection that spread to my heart I had a 107.2 fever I should have died more than once and I grew up going to church and accepted Jesus when I was 12 years old but I am only alive today because of the Lord. My heart transplant was also a perfect match which is practically unheard of ... I am almost 5 years post heart transplant and have had no rejection :)

My husband proposed to me 10 months after my transplant and I also was born with Marfan syndrome and he chose to still marry me even though I have many many medical issues he is amazing and so compassionate

Really enjoying the channel! I totally agree with either loving or really not liking the "no poo" options. Baking soda, ACV, coconut oil, aloe Vera juice..you name it. After 7 months of "no poo," my hair never looked WORSE! Praise God there are now many commercial organic, chemical free shampoo options! Thank you all for sharing your testimonies with the world. God is good all the time! May He continue to bless your ministry!

My church where I grew up going to all of a sudden started preaching a lot of prosperity theology and started following what Bethel church in California preaches ( we live in Wisconsin) and my whole family started feeling very uneasy when we would go and we ended up leaving because we would leave church every Sunday in total disagreement with our pastor so it was so hard to leave but we felt Satan was interfering in that church.

15:46 OMG I really wanted to hear that story about how you had the knife in your hand. Then it cut out and Mike literally dissipated in to thin air! Did you almost accidentally stab somebody but then something happened that prevented it? Dying to know now!! BTW so thrilled that Jill is going to be continuing on with her story. That cliff hanger with her and the horrendous snow story had me on the edge of my seat. I thought I must have missed the next chapter at some point. Glad to know that you didn't forget and are planning to continue it. I love hearing how God worked it out in your life and that you all freely talk about God. In my family it was something that was never brought up. We never had a conversation like that. It's really nice to hear about how God intervened to help you through the really tough times.

So I was cutting an apple for Jack and I turned around to talk to mom. I thought he had gone into the other room and I went to turn to put the knife in the sink and Jack was right next to me. I came about an inch from stabbing his eye. It still gives me chills thinking about it but what we were saying was as soon as it was over I was thanking God for protecting him!

I think about that, (thanking God) when I can share coupons or walk up on a situation where someone wants half a head of cabbage and they don't want to sell it and leave half. I realized that I was there for a reason. That happens about 1or2 times a week. Not always the store, but....

Didn't have to buy it because you give so much information online even for people who can't afford it, but thought you deserved the cost of the book for all the good work that you do and the time spent in all that you do! 21:42 What you were saying there about being sick for 28 years reminded me of my favorite bible verse. John 5:1-15. It talks about how there was a sick man who sat by the pool for 38 years waiting to be healed. When the angel came down and stirred the water, whoever got in the pool first was healed. Somebody always stepped in front of this man for 38 years because he didn't have anybody to help him get in the pool. One day Jesus came down and said take up your bed and walk and he got healed the next day. It reminds me to have faith, keep going no matter what and trust and believe that God can do anything.

How did Michael get into Ministry?
@beckyfischer7025
@beckyfischer7025 7 лет назад
Thank you so much for this show. I loved it when Michael said the Bible is the inspired word of God. I agree whole heartily. I believe that God answers all prayers. I believe He says either yes, no, or wait. Right now He has told me to wait. God just recently performed a miracle in my life. He told me I have self-worth. This is the first time in my life that I believed I had self-worth. I was abused as a child & as an adult so I was told I was not worth anything & unfortunately I believed it. Michael, I understand about having fear due to abuse. God has freed me from the psychological hold fear had on me that my mother had instilled in me as a child. I, like you, have anxiety. A majority of it is controlled by medication. Praise God. I so appreciate you talking about God, the Bible, church, & good Christian preachers & teachers. My favorite are the Stanleys. Please check into a man by the name of Chuck Missler. He is a very deep Bible teacher. You can find him at khouse.org. My husband has been listening to him for over 20 years. He is fantastic. When I teach Sunday School I research what he has to say. Love in Christ, Becky

I asked during the show, but it didn't get answered. Why doesn't Jill live in Colorado with Mike and Tawra? It seems like she feels right at home in Colorado, and her parents live there too
@LivingOnADime
@LivingOnADime 7 лет назад
It's too expensive for her to pay cash for a house here. Her 70K house would cost around 200K here so it's just not feasible. She is near my brother.

What advice do have for someone who is trying to grow their RU-vid channel? I think I can help people find ways to save money so they can get out of debt. I love your channel. I'm in the Wichita area
@LivingOnADime
@LivingOnADime 7 лет назад
Well, it depends on why you want to grow one. If you are expecting to earn a lot from it you will need something other then the ad revenue from RU-vid. It is a LOT of work and honestly the amount of hours we put in doesn't even come close to being worth it if we didn't have the income from the book sales on our Facebook live videos. So 1st make sure you really want to invest the time for pretty much no pay back. 2nd if you still want to then you will need to post good content on a regular basis, daily is best. That's about it.

Living On A Dime Right now it is a hobby as I already work a full time job. I figured I'd pick up a camera and film what I am already doing and that maybe someone could benefit. I am not expecting a lot of money. Thanks for feedback. I will try to upload content daily :)

I'm so sorry that the wording came out wrongly. I meant to say it as to give you guys a very good compliment as to giving people that don't or can't afford to buy a lot of stuff that may cost a lot of money. I really do enjoy your you tube channel. I'm very glad that I had came across it. I see that you guys are very spritrila (?)and I'm glad you are willing to spread the word. I didn't know if you and your families live in different states . I have seen you guys do cooking ,baking salads. But I don't think that I have seen any of shows where you do something in the line of crafts. And really do love your show Thank you very much for your time. Sincerely Vida Lindner.

Tawra, Ok you have to explain the "7 grandmas"? Are you talking great grandmothers. Also What is BJ's name if J is his middle name? Also, I don't know why everyone wants you to kill your ex. Jill ? You never said what happened, except that you asked him to leave ....not that you should. Mike, Glad that mistletoe allergy cleared up. : )

I think it's sad to hear you talk bad about your Dad in front of your kids. My Dad was not the best Dad ever. But he's the only one I have. I hate to hear my kids repeat bad stories they've overheard.
@LivingOnADime
@LivingOnADime 7 лет назад
Well, I don't talk bad about my dad to them but if they ask I'm not going to lie to them either. He doesn't want to be a part of our lives and I can't help that. I've forgiven him and still do love him but I'm not going to make excuses for him either. Tawra

I agree with you Tawra and think you handle things beautifully. I have a similar circumstance with my mom and dad. I have this past year stopped making excuses for them for the sake of my stress and sanity and most importantly-honesty . Also it doesn't foster an honest , open atmosphere in family life. Not to mention that if kids don't know the truth they often make up reasons in their minds and cling to those untruths which can be harmful to their way of thinking.
@LivingOnADime
@LivingOnADime 7 лет назад
I didn't say anything my kids haven't already heard. The older kids know the entire story and the younger ones know he doesn't want to be a part of our life. I'm not going to pretend like everything is all roses when they ask. I'm not nasty about it and I don't go into details but I just state the facts that he live on the other side of the country and doesn't want to be a part of our lives.

Tawra, I had the exact opposite thoughts from Laurie Stewart. I thought you, your mom, and your husband handle the discussion of you dad beautifully. Keep it up. I just love your honesty about your faith, your life, your family and everything in-between. Keep it up. 👍 God bless you
