You should have used your scrubber with ALL of the cleaners, it would have taken less elbow grease, plus some of those need water to activate and to sit a bit, like Bar Keepers Friend or Comet. Or if you had simply put the oven cleaner on the pan and let it sit overnight, there would have been no scrubbing, that is the whole point of oven cleaner----no scrubbing.
Hello I just heard you speak of the repackaged cool aide. Watch the sweeter if it says sugar free it might be sweetened with aspartame. For my self that is a trigger for my seizures. Now I do use the one with sugar. I can’t buy them at Wal Mart. Anyways you can put one package in a bottle of 42 oz. It is not to sweet that way.
We will miss you while you are gone. You have taken these breaks before, but your mental health is worth it. Stewed tomatoes? We used to have them as is for a side for dinner. You can have a balloon, I live near 3 military bases here in Jacksonville FL. We have helicopters...they circle around, then the planes take off, and they seem awfully low, like they are avoiding radar, and on, and on, and on. The news media also uses helicopters, and we have several bridges here in this city, so if there is an accident, etc, somebody's sending a chopper. I was taught to divide the meal plate as 1/4 of the plate to both the meat and your starch, and 1/2 the plate to veggies. My mother used to always make both a green veggie and an orange or yellow veggie. Again - I will miss you personally. Have a great time off.
YES definitely show your food hauls! I can't find case lot sale in Massachusetts. I do find great deals on Amazon when they do % off codes that's how I stock up.
I'm fascinated by all the people who don't have a clue. How did 2020 not wake you up? Keep listening to leftist media...they love you and would never lie to you. 😂
I like your grocery hauls! We are just south of you in Casper. I'll be checking our inventory and heading to Ridleys for the case lot sale this weekend!
I didn't hear any of that in this video. I think it's wise to stock up on pantry items when they're at their lowest price. I also like to have my inventory re-stocked before the winter weather hits.
Our local store had their 90th anniversary. Some of the stuff I got was Canned veggies 30 cents a can (3 for 90 cents) English muffins 90 cents Chef boyardee 90 cents Chicken nuggets 3.90 a bag A hot dog, a bag of chips and a pop for 90 cents Gallon milk 1.90 Eggs 1.90 a dozen
I love dried beans! I freeze them first to kill any eggs that might come in with them. Then I store them in those gallon pickle jars my daughter in law gives me from the pickles she’d buy.
Just found you on here, but I love buying by the case instead of individually. I’m older now and don’t need a lot, but when I was a young single mom I lived around several grocery stores each 1 block from my apartment. I perused all the grocery adds for which stores had what items on sale. Back then I also used lots of coupons (which I rarely find anymore) to stretch my dollars. My first month in my apartment I bought a 3 month supply of staple items and canned goods. Second month I stocked up a 3 month supply on freezer items like meats. I managed to get a system going that I never ran out of anything. Yes we were vegetarian for the first month, but with toddlers no one cared. Afterwards we had plenty of everything. The third month was seeing if I was low on anything and also what I called my free month where we could try new things we normally wouldn’t buy. Then the whole system started over and I continued this type of shopping until I moved to a new state. Everyone in my apartment complex knew that if they ran out of anything, the could come knock on my door and I’d have extra to share. Thank you for sharing your shopping savings with everyone! It is such good advice and a great plan for staying stocked up on the items you regularly use! Nice to see younger folks learning frugality and passing the knowledge on to others! (I say younger because I have grandchildren the age of your boys. 😁)
