Artist and “Shots Magazine” owner and publisher Douglas Beasley and artist and “Shots Magazine” editor Elizabeth Flinsch discussed "Water: Shots Magazine Group Photography Exhibition" in a live Q&A held via Zoom on June 23, 2021. The exhibition in is on view April 30 through September 5, 2021 at the Minnesota Marine Art Museum.
The exhibition features photographs by 38 national and international photographers exploring the theme of water. Their images were selected by jury and printed in the summer 2019 issue of 'Shots, The Quarterly Journal of Black & White Photography,' published by St. Paul, MN photographer Douglas Beasley and editor Elizabeth Flinsch. The artists’ photographs have a wide range of styles ranging from detailed to panoramic, realism to abstraction, and personal and intimate to accessible, in their responses to water.
