I suspect the cops wanted to cover-up the face-stomping so thought the prior attack on the cops would cancel out the subsequent possible police mis-behaviour. "OK we assaulted you, but as you assaulted us first we're even"🤦‍♂ No, it shouldn't work like that, let's deal legally with both events separately, and see what two proper courts of law decide. We can't have citizens beating up policemen with impunity, regardless of their culture or religion.

Great news, they should have been arrested and charged straight away. You can't write anything about anyone on line as you get arrested but you can attack our police and get away with it, it's one rule for us and one for others

Why haven’t those thugs been sentenced in a court of law I wonder ? Then we talk about two-tier policing and two-tier justice which seems to be gaining momentum in broken Britain under The Labour Party. How much leverage has shariah law today in the U.K. how much influence do the shariah courts have over the actions of Muslims who break English laws ? Do we have one law for ourselves and another for Muslims? We need clarity on where we stand in this country at present. I hope Reform can shed some light on this issue as it needs to be discussed in detail and a solution found before it gets to ingrained to deal with. We all need to understand this.

I am a pensioner and will certainly donate to the funding of a private prosecution to get justice for the police officers who were brutally assaulted by the two thugs, who then promoted themselves as victims.

Yet more lawyers making even more money out of a IOPC and other enquiries that could potentially last a very, very long time. It's in their interest for it to last as long as possible in order to make money out of us and the country. And what do we hear after an enquiry? That lessons must be learned, and yet they NEVER are!
