That's insane...this is literally what stock sample packs and everyone else in the world sounds like....all at once. Skee Mask, Stingray 313, Helena Hauff, Courtesy, Surgeon, Richard Devine, Karenn, Squarepusher, Aphex Twin, Andy Stott, Autechre, Legowelt....+ a hundred more. You need to broaden your horizons because this is such a poor display of the capabilities (both musical/technically/sound design).

@@claycowartisamazing Haha you may have a look into my techno playlist xD, this is mostly based around analog gear, you may not know this but there isnt anything like stock sample packs on there besides on the mc-101 (which is like a digital rompler). And just for your summarization above comparing people like helena hauff and aphex twinz or richard devine just shows off that your knowledge in electronic musics isnt so broad, richard devine is one of the most talented electronic producers especially more then capable in modern modular stuff and everything else besides a "world sample user" just as aphex twinz you should have a serious listen to polynmnial c and vordhosbn and tell me where the stock samples are. Aphex twin even mostly used scales in his music that arent your common eastern or western ones. So he has a style no one else has... And all these people you mentioned above doesnt have live sets or just poor ones like legowelt or surgeon... that cant cope even a bit with the liveset of this man. You may have never performed with gear yourself though and might not understand the preparation of a 1h set without any flaws, a real good and smart arrangement, real good mixing decisions and 100% musicality over the whole course. The only one that comes into my mind is Ben Böhmer whos probably even better in performing live. But i understand you this isnt the stuff i listen to, but as a whole performance this is more then good! Im really into Umwelt, Anthony Rother, Mathew Johnson, Andrea Signore, Stanislav Tolkachev, Heckmann, Norbak and stuff :)

​@@josephmamah4124yes, both are great. You can be on turntables remixing a lot, especially with 4 channels, and there are DJs making their own music that they DJ with. People enjoy hearing other's music, especially classics, with DJs. Plenty of people think DJs don't even do much because humans are yet again showing themselves as uneducated. I love both because I love music.

Thanks! True. Yeah, I still love DJing too but it is super fun playing live and being able to manipulate the individual parts at any moment. It feels more expressive and more connected to the music.

@@MichaelSmith-bb6kg sure thing. There's two main ways to do it. With a computer or without. If you do it without a computer you won't need an audio interface. Just some instruments like drum machine, synthesizers, sampler etc. I you do need need an audio interface, and want something good but low cost, then i recommend Focusrite. They are excellent for the price

Thanks! 😊 Good idea. I'll try that. regarding the Tetra and multi mode, it's ok. I already have enough tracks going on. 4 mono synths on the A4 and then chords on the Tetra, + AR and MC101. For me it would get too complicated and i don't need that many parts in a song for my style of music. So i am not worried. I like keeping the Tetra for chords. That way i can use the A4 for just bass and leads etc, and have a dedicated poly synth for my chords. I know what you mean about the octatrack. I was thinking of getting one but I purposely wanted to keep this setup small and light enough to take as carry on luggage for touring. The octatrack mk2 was just that little bit too heavy, and the MC101 can at least give me time stretched audio + loads more. I think if they release an Octatrack Mk3 i would seriously consider it though. Maybe I could replace the MC101 and Tetra with that.
