Hey brother I just wanted to let you know that you are the absolute best person putting out this kind of content on RU-vid. You take the time to do tats at real speed, answering questions and explain technical aspects of what you have learned, and you are willing to share with people. I really believe that is what makes a lot of others in the business butthurt. Like when a magician explains the magic trick. I have watched just about everything you have posted on RU-vid and have learned so much from you and for that I thank you. I only do practice skin, and I have no illusion of being a tattooist, most artist think that you should have to go through the process, apprenticeship, and such, but it's not that easy when there's more people than position's. I have learned to build tones and the different brush strokes for lack of a better term, solely from you. To me it's art, instead of a sketch pad and pencils, it's synthetic skin and ink. Please take care of yourself and understand that you are very appreciated. Thanks again for all of it.

As an Artist...I have to point out that there are some obstacles in the tattooing game that hinder the industry from growing. The tattooing industry is the only industry in Art where artists SHIT! on other artists, then go and give an apprenticeship to a chic that can't do art, but " Hey! they've got ASS to trade ". @@swervv2957 when you tattooing the inner bicep it’s gonna get Mad Redness cuz that part of the skin don’t get no Sun and the lower the Melin in your skin the faster it is at getting Red..So almost everyone is going to Red as hell in that spot no matter how slow you going
@@fanboyslayer338 I completely agree bro. 9-10 times when I’m tatting a certain spot it’s guaranteed to be red, but then when I move on to another spot for some time that previous spot will cool down
Empire inks greywash set is NOT difficult to use, you just have to layer it form lighter to darker. It seems to me he used medium or light on the “mustache” area instead of using extra light and build it up… now that area is over saturated an he will have to over saturate the jaw/mandible area as well to make up for it… my humble opinion is establish your darkest values first ( surrounding spaces / background) and build up the rest using xtra-light or light
Shit looks good bro. I use empire too. I just did a piece tonight with it. Very light, I really didn’t have trouble with and it wasn’t irritating the skin either. It was probably just dudes skin. I even take the very light and dip in water and I still got a nice super light tone not much red.
I’ve been in the tattoo industry for 2.6 years and you are right when you say it horrific😢. It’s cut throat. Even your friends will have weird intent. I love tattooing but the artists are kinda stuck up and very high schoolish if that’s the word I can beat describe it.
Very talented sir! I only watched half of this but it seems like you’ve had some “industry trouble”? We’re artists and our nature is to worry, pick ourselves apart, and make things worse in our head than they actually are. I remember like 7-8 years ago, a few years after i started tattooing…this guy on RU-vid named Johnny Gaul (probably spelled his name wrong) was making videos about certain techniques and a VERY big name tattooer/ machine builder offered a liner shader combo to the first person that broke his hands and sent him video evidence. So at least things aren’t that bad haha. Keep doing your thing!

I use Dettol to apply stencils, and it holds really really well and doesn't blur out like most stencil creams. I just squirt some Dettol on a makeup pad and rub it on the area to apply the stencil. Let it dry for about 15 min
