He deserves what he has, when you watch him do his stuff.... well he told his kids, put your nose to the grind stone. The hours of continuous practice he has to do, to perform his characters like he does.. His timing on changing voices as quickly as he does would take tremendous hours of practice. So cool in his performances..
I bet he spent hours in front of a mirror getting himself prepared. I don't know if he would answer that question. You can ask people anything, whether they decide to answer is up to that person. Just like I'd love to ask Taylor Swift how she decides the music for each song, but I'm sure she wouldn't answer it, but I would still ask.
I love the fact that he collects from his heart and not necessarily for value. The 63 split window Corvette has always been a fantasy dream car of mine. That is the most gorgeous Corvette ever and I envy Jeff for that one
I’m pretty sure it was a ‘63 Split Corvette (maybe ‘62??) that my sister had that she kicked herself for selling until the day she died. The thing is, she knew she had a cool car, just didn’t realize she would be better off keeping it instead of selling it.. “regerts “…. 😂
When I was a kid we had a neighbor with one of these and I couldn't understand why someone rich enough for a "supercar" would live in our neighborhood. I hadn't heard of kit cars at the time.
Congratulations. I envy you. Two families, and the chance to have collections of your favorite toys, even have others to build them for you. Awesome success dude. Totally jealous.
Not sure why everyone is so surprised how much money that Dunham has, after all he is a Doctor of Proctology for a very specialized and small clientele.
Headlights sounds like a trash can opening and closing - nice touch! I owned 300 of the old Volkswagens and have seen some weird modifications - that has to be one of the strangest! :D
Dude I've been a fan for years but now I can say with no reservations, you've officially become one of my heroes, follow your dreams if toy sick with it you can so anything thanx Jeff😁✌
I just discovered Jeff Dunham on RU-vid. I,'ve been so busy at Jay Leno,s Garage and just sat down and started watching Jeff,s car videos. He,s like a big kid with his cars and doesn't,t say it,s Hilarious like Jay does! Now, I have another reason to watch RU-vid and be completely entertained by a comedian every bit as funny as Jay Leno!
One of my earliest memories of working on cars with my Dad involves a Bradley GT, in brown as well. I too feel the same sort of nostalgia when I see a Bradley GT in great shape. I am glad to see that your gullwings are still intact. In the cold New England weather, my Dad's would snap between the hinges and the support. Eventually, he stopped replacing them and just added an extra strip of plexi-glass where they would snap.
Holy shit! 1948 original KDF! I've only seen one at the Prado Park Show a few years ago when I took my recently "resurrected" 67 numbers matching, one owner prior to me, 99,000 original miles but sat for around 20 years in the IE with the windows cracked. I got that one like new again but kept the patina only because of the original RUBY RED showing in most areas. The Bradley is awesome! I had the Dick Dean Shala, The fiberglass model of the Shalako model. "Just under 500 were made" according to Mr. Dean prior to his death. He was going to sign the dash for me if only I was able to make it to Hemet the couple months after we spoke. You've got a MAN'S GARAGE there. My 2400 sqft garage/full shop with everything needed to do the restores, 8000 hyd/air Globe single post car lift with the speedeaire 120gallon air compressor piped throughout, overhead hoist, blah blah blah is my baby. Beautiful garage Jeff. I'd love to show you mine if you'd show me yours......
As a car guy , If you are truly this down to earth, I admire your love of all cars. There is magic from driving something that's defies all engineering
Jeff, paid the ultimate price for his fame and it wasn’t fair. He claimed that the first doll he ever made professionally cost around $100,000 or more and because it was similar to a mortgage loan, it caused duress with the family. His wife at the time didn’t believe he could crawl out of debt and she left him. He may make around $35-50M a year now, but it cost him 10-15 years he will never get back and someone that left him cold and dry. His type of routine, isn’t a routine at all. This is and as his life. He speaks to dolls hours at a time a day and practices in front of the mirrors religiously. He is as professional as they come. I am sorry you went through a dark period Jeff. It wasn’t your fault.
Dang it Jeff, when You said Bradley GT and Popular Mechanics... I immediately thought of RotorWay Helicopters. Then You said it. I rode in a Bell Jet Ranger at the Fernandina Beach Shrimp Festival circa '80s. My Dad saw how jazzed I was about it, and asked "You want me to get us a helicopter?" I was like Heayll Yeah! He told me to study it and get prices. I carried those PM mags for weeks, looking at RotorWay. Mom finally crushed my groove, " Your Daddy is not buying a helicopter." She's pretty much crushed the life out of every dream that Dear Man has ever had.
That really sucks that they are going to stop making Vipers. The two types of cars that I always wanted are a Dodge Viper & a Firebird. Now my dreams of owning a Dodge Viper are down the drain.
Just saw your show in Barrie Ontario Canada with my son,, absolutely loved it. Love your collection of cars. All the best and hope your success keeps rolling on.
Jeff this is awesome. I have owned 3 and currently own a GT2 . I have cataloged the history of kit cars for 25 years and Im glad to see that you are a fan of them and the Sterlings.
I remember a (version of) the Bradley GT as the “Cote Coyote” in the show Hardcastle and McCormack - it was also a dream of mine but looking at it now..the proportions on those headlights ...wow. Great cars, Jeff.
I had a black one in 1984, owned it for about 6 months, while stationed at Camp Pendleton, sold it to a guy in Orem Utah, but had to deliver it! What a great adventure.
wolfweight69 ls motor...ls motor everything I don't care if it's a cardboard box with wheels it gets an ls motor lol that or being an old vw drop a porsche motor in it
Dude I love your 1940 Ford Coupe and your 1963 corvette stingray. Some of my favorite cars. Also saw your woody in the background...also I didn’t forget your VW bus by the way the bug was beautiful...split window is rare
My dad and I (8 years old at the time) built a Bradley GTII in 1975. It was the dark brown with the biggest gold flake ever. We actually put a Porsche six cylinder in it.
He might have given his ex the Prius. Wasn't it that light green or light blue girly color? I can remember Jeff talking about that car in his act. He wasn't exactly proud to drive it around and she LIKED to remind him of that fact! The Prius is kind of a prissy-looking little car... Toyota produces designs like that once in a while -- the Tercel, the Paseo, etc.
We know the toys we want in life and it doesn't matter what others think. Jeff I'd love to be your personal mechanic working on any little whim you wanted changed or repaired. Awesome video!
Yeah sadly....but bad sales of the car pretty much put a nail in the coffin for it. They even tried lowering the cost of the Vipers by $15,000.00 each but it did not help. Pretty much the steep cost and reputation as a car that was difficult to handle and control while driving hurt its sales.
My childhood dream was to buy a kit car and assemble it myself but it was a Cobra. I was in my late 30s and my wife told me to just go and get it and build it. I went to a place in North Richland Hills Tx where they sold them and was working a deal when it occurred to me that I hadn't even sat in on and if I would fit. They had one assembled and said go sit in it and see what you think. Well I was 6ft 4 and couldn't close the door. My feet were so big that they covered both clutch and brake pedals. Needless to say, I didnt get it. Oh well. My dream came a little close. I do remember the Bradley cars and have seen a couple. They were very unique and intriguing to me as a teenager. Congratulations Jeff. Its fun to see your energy level over this car.
I think it's very neat that your into classic cars and pickups. I'm 17 I have a 1965 Ford f100 all original 240 inline 6 c4 tranny 2wd I'm cleaning her up and restoring I love your enthusiasm and humor keep up the good work and take care
I ove the fact that you get excited about a Volkswagon powered fiberglass kit car as much as a 500 thousand car, me too. I see the beauty in all of them, even the Volkswagon thing, the simply built 70's Scouts and Broncos, all the old ones.
Jeff I grew up wanting one of these Bradley GT'S. I saw my first one on the TV show Greatest American hero and fell in love with them. Amazing collection. Love them I'm envious!
I had a bug as my first car and it was restored and it was registered the year I was born!! There is just something about the sound of a very bug engine! Bloomin lovely! I loved my bug and would love to get another old one!
