This video is almost too scary to watch. Dr. Lee's words are so devastatingly true. Dr Lee's concept of Trump as a Contagion, is such an incredible genius insight. And as a life long union worker of nearly 40 yrs, I can attest that when Republicans are in the White House, the economy, workers wages, and working conditions all suffer. It was great to hear that Dr. Lee's research supports what I have always believed to be the truth throughout my life.

A major reason why our healthcare system is so bad is because of our 2 party political system. The ultrasound tech sounded like he was in the army vetting me. He kept asking me about politics and I kept telling him I didn’t want to talk politics, somehow he got me to talk like he gave me truth serum or something. He ended up weaponizing the ultrasound. I drove home in a daze, went to bed and didn’t wake up until the middle of the afternoon the next day!! This was like trump’s first year, pre pandemic. I didn’t call the police because I live in a red state. I didn’t go to any other doctors until he was voted out and that was emergency surgery for small bowel obstruction. Same thing that killed Lisa Marie Presley and at the same time. Then there’s all the chemicals in our food, sugar is in evvvvvrything. Great conversation yall! Thanks!!

I don’t get why George Conway and Dr. John Gartner haven’t mentioned Dr. Lee. Dr. Stephen Hassan certainly has! Dr. Lee is absolutely the best from a clinical standpoint, and has also paid a huge price for speaking truth to power. On top of her clinical skills, which are unparalleled, I admire Dr. Lee’s poise even when delivering the worst news. She is both poised, calming, and comforting in her delivery. Like her, I agree this is an existential threat to us. And also like Dr. Lee, my background is in acute forensic psychiatry though as a psychologist. I remember my patients asking me how come trump wasn’t “here with us” after the 2016 election (I worked at a well known forensic psych facility in the NY metropolitan area). And of course we all knew the answer to that. Our current situation is just like it was in Germany before their citizens brought hitler into power. I never thought I’d be living through this, that we would be here. It’s impossible to reach maga, and they are taking over. I am grateful to Dr. Lee, and I pray for her safety.

Here is another delusion Trump announced at his California golf club. Canada has a large tap that can turn on for water for California. He doesn’t know that water already is being diverted, but that opening the faucet wider will not be good for the environment from which it comes. Already the salmon stocks that migrate up that river to smaller feeder rivers are declining. And has been 1:02 for years. They’re talking about putting a moratorium on salmon fishing off shore. That is just an important piece of a larger puzzle. So we as Canadians will hold our politicians accountable if any more water is diverted. You have a way of saving water, cut down the amount of people moving to southern desert states where water is not plentiful and swimming pools holding thousands of gallons of water that evaporate changing your weather patterns.

My personal economy during the Chump presidency was so bad [and i was earning a six figure salary], that I joined the millions of pre-retiree's in the country and quit my job, vowing to never return to employment with corporate America again. I, like millions of pre-retiree's in this great country, turned to self-employment and self-sufficiency and succeeded. For all who claim to have been 'better off' during 2017-2020 need only look at their earnings statements, their retirement accounts and their mental health during that time frame to see the reality.

And as I recall from living under a dictatorship (we came to the US under the incorrect assumption that we would be safe here, that this was a democracy), dictators do not have the equivalent of a “second in command”. So once trump keels over, vance will become dictator for life. And that’s gonna be a long time.

We need also to look at diagnostic indicators that point to similar harm done to the members of the US Congress and the US Supreme Court that have shifted away from normalcy through a relatively new and increasingly more dangerous, spread of mental illness. The influence continues to include hundreds of public officials in our state and local governments. The same or similar illness present in Trump continues to spread throughout much of our society.

Anthony. I appreciate that you want to give Dr. Lee a platform. But she doesn't add much new each week. She doesn't add prescriptives. She spends a lot of time on her own grievance that if she had been listened to things would be better. I agree. But your audience is not learning anything new from this conversation. And I believe Dr. Lee's own mental health is being compromised by your platform. She needs to move forward with her life. How will we heal people going forward? You ask her these questions, but she always reverts to wanting to be heard. She needs to work through this and your platform is giving her space to wallow in it. As a journalist, you need to remember that mental health experts enter the field to heal their own wounds. That is not a criticism- it gives them a wonderful perspective. But it also leaves them vulnerable to allowing their wounds to fester as they become more accomplished.
