I took one digital photo of a cute kid at a local mall. The kids mom got VERY angry and demanded I delete the photo instantly. I hadn't thought about older men shooting photos of little kids. She was certainly justified and reminded me of the hazards little kids face. Never once pointed a camera at a child from that day to this. Kids are targets in our perverted world. Jacob Wetterling is a very famous case of some old guy who plotted to kidnap him.

Now with news of juvenile predators, I was enough aware that when I saw a small child run away from his mom in a government feeling, I was terribly nervous. She noticed he was gone and instantly found him. Yet SOMEHOW when I saw this cute child, I didn't think of ramifications. So GLAD the mom was a more logical thinker than I was. It EMBARRASSED me, but that child was well protected.
