Hello MTN! So I MUST say with tremendous pride that my son is a highly active boots-on-the-ground, door knocker, phone center worker, and writer lettering--Kamala, Walz- Democratic volunteer and he went to a Kamala rally campaign event today and was blown away by all of the joy, positivity, and hope in the air. It's amazing what she's doing. Bringing us together as Americans. That's the America I know. Now this was in Erie Pennsylvania, a short 1 and a half drive from our hometown IN OHIO where it's just Trump land, literally i can't even put up a yard sign without getting into an argument with a MAGA supporter. Yup, she's getting to us! I can also say, that there are fewer Trump signs, more Kamala signs too! I can't believe it it's so hopeful and hearing the raw data you guys report, it's real. Just voted today in Ohio. Blue all the way down the ballot! My dad played a joke as we were leaving the polls today and looked at my mom and I and said "all right gang let's go back to Venezuela." I laughed and then part of me was like telling my dad to be quiet because I was worried because we live in a town in Sandusky Ohio where you never know if somebody might pull out a gun. My mom and dad both worked at NASA and they're both scientists and they're both intelligent people and they both know that the right vote is to vote blue. My dad still has a sense of humor about all of it even amidst the chaos. I love that my 89 year old dad and my 82 year old mother taught me good morals and what it takes to be a true patriot and why Kamala and Tim are the best choice for a better future. I've never been into politics like I am now and I'm grateful my educated parents who are still alive taught me about morals. That's how I knew I needed to step up and vote blue up and down the ballot.

My uncle and several of his friends quit school and joined the navy when Japan bombed Hawaii. All of them were 17 years old at the time. His ship was headed to Japan and they were told many of the would not survive the battle. Before they reached their destination President Roosevelt approved the use of the atomic bomb on Japan. That decision saved the lives of those sailors on that ship and on the other ones headed to the same destination.

Agreed. I was born and live in Lincolnshire England. The very first settlers sailed from Boston in Lincolnshire, not Plymouth as recorded in history, they had tocall at Plymouth for stores and repairs. New York is a tiny little village near Boston, gave the first settlers a name to use. The Boston football team to this day is called The Pilgrims. So my forebears bear some responsibility for the treatment of the original inhabitants of the USA. Reservations just may be likened to concentration camps, they were used for the same purpose.
