I am 54 yrs old, and I can honestly say that 2 of my top 10 lifetime experiences involving “celebrities” involve meeting Joe Biden. Once was visiting his senate office in DC, about 30 years ago, with a group of young professionals, advocating for better IRA options. (Became “Roth IRAs, named after the senior Senator from Delaware). The other times meeting him and his wife at a restaurant in Greenville, Delaware. He was at a regular table, in the middle of the room. My wife and I were in a more private booth, with a window. He was and still is a very humble man. He could have insisted on a better table, but accepted whatever was available, like any other patron. We politely exchanged greetings as we finished our meal, and then Senator Biden recalled the time we met in his office. He genuinely cares about the people he represents. I cannot say anything remotely like that about DJT. He seems to care only about how much money he can grift from people.

Awesome story. You confirmed what I imagined meeting President Biden to be like. I still wish to meet him so I can personally thank him for VAWA (Violence Against Women's Act). Every day the new low that Trump sinks to surprises me more. Trump cried and cried and cried that the trial schedule wouldn't allow him to attend his son Barron's HS graduation ceremony. He asked for that day off for that sole purpose. Now that the judge granted his request because he was satisfied with the progress of the trial, of course Trump has now announced that he's not going to attend his kids graduation, but instead is going to do a campaign rally in Michigan that day. I wonder if Merchan has the ability to rescind that day off...
