My husband and I have been to 48 states. If you get the chance to see New England, especially Maine in the fall to see the leaf colors, do it. I had seen pictures over the years but thought they had to be touched up. Oh my goodness unbelievable colors. We also stopped at roadside hole in the wall. They brought lobsters up from their boat, dropped them in giant pots over a woodfire in the parking lot . Best seafood ever. Have you been to Grand Canyon? Another one of those places you think pictures have to be retouched.

I have lived in Maine for 70 years, I'm moving to Florida. I need heat lol. The state is very beautuful in areas. Lots to see in summer. Winters are for the outdoors people. Food and nature are beautiful. . I f you get to Maine in the summer, sign up for lunch at Cabbage Island. It's a great memory. Kingfield is the area to visit in the fall.

Watching this late - like Wednesday - so catching up! I think this is absolutely amazing to honour you as a veteran who served your country! That is a really wonderful gift - lots of goodies! Today was a tough day for American citizens for sure. Thank you for your service to your country, Brett! I live in Canada, and it did affect us a fair bit, since we are next door. I did not realize that people from 93 countries died that day. 😢💔 I sent quick prayers for all to our good good God, He knows how you two need a place to worship with Christian sisters and brothers - and though the gift bag was wonderful - the fellowship together with the family of God is priceless! Brett and Therese - you two make a great couple - it is good to share the load and acknowledge each other and that you are a team!

Good you arrived back home safely. I was pleased to discover that you were closer to my "neck of the woods" recently. And, I am glad the weather co-operated and was pleasant. Be careful what flowers you plant -- come Spring. The deer will make short shrift of some plants. You might consider getting a salt block for them to lick upon. Also, to protect them, you might decide to put up some "No hunting/or trespassing signage."

Flying into Pittsburgh you are flying into my backyard, as I live just across the river from airport. If you are ever in the area on a Wednesday between Mother’s Day and the end of October you should stop by the Ross Township Farmers Market. You might see me there with my woodcrafts and we even have an Amish Bakery that comes down from. Andover Ohio.

FYI, if you happen to travel to Lancaster County, PA the New Holland KOA has an Amish bakery across the road! You can walk across to get your morning donut (the exercise helps to justify the donut! LOL)

The Creation Museum is about 30 minutes from the Ark you can get tickets for them both at the same time. We really enjoyed going to them both. Parking is pretty high though.

Branson Mo then the big and main Bass Pro is in Springfield Mo about 45 minutes from Branson if you have ever heard of Silver dollar city it's in Branson not sure if it's closed down for season yet or not lots of shows in Branson it's a tourist town you said something about arch it's about 3 hr's from Springfield Mo

We have an Amish store here in Utah up in Perry. Omgoodness. It is fantastic. The meats and the cheeses and the CANDY. oh my. You have no idea. The breads they made are to die for and they make home made jams and jellies. I cannot go up there very often . I get myself in trouble

I buy lot of my spices from the Amish here you do have to watch some things are higher but lots isn't and I really do use lots of spices so i buy in bulk we also use the mennonite to butcher our pigs and cows.
