Shift by wire is one of my favourites too. Shifting gears even in an automatic should be done from the central console. Personal opinion only because some of us just don’t like it and it doesn’t look sporty if it’s on the steering wheel. Thanks and by the way nice thorough video. Anyone don’t like the length of it can simply fast forward. That’s the beauty of RU-vid😊.

I been in a new vw golf last week it was cool😊

Just rang my dealership after watching this video asking where is my car 😁 I went for the r-line manual 1.5 in moonstone grey! I am from Ireland and we all drive manuals over here. Will be driving a manual until the last one is gone 😆Was told its waiting on the port in Germany to be shipped so not long now! Think the new facelift looks great. My father in law has the non-face lift version and always gave out about the infotainment system but this looks like a very much needed upgrade! Also physical buttons back on the wheel was welcomed happily by pretty much everyone. Just two quick questions, does the car feel a lot more sporty and responsive in sports mode compare to comfort mode for example or is it more of a less noticeable increase? Great vid man. Also, does the 360 camera come standard in the r-line version?

Thanks a lot for this exhaustive video but 1/ 1hour and 49mn (as long as a cinema film, sometimes you repeat yourself twice, 3 times!), all that to explain what could be said within 15 minutes and 2/ Unfortunately the video quality is really bad, almost everything is blurry except very close views, due to the poor capability of the smartphone… It’s a shame.
