Thank you for this tutorial it helped me a lot. I've been struggling with the wood grain and this has made it way easier. Also you should get a little kitchen scale that way you only have to use one cup and none gets wasted on the edges of the cup! Plus it saves on cups

Such a great tutorial! I have always been so nervous to use epoxy, but was tired of always having to redo my decals on my cups after a couple months of use! Pretty confident and excited to try this! Also excited to try my hand at making the rotating cup holder!

When is the decal added? Do you add it once the sealer drys before you epoxy or do you add a coat of epoxy first?

HELP!!! I'm trying to do a gray woodgrain. As I'm applying slate alcohol ink..it starts to look pink. When finished, there's a green hue. After its dried. I sprayed it with what you suggested, but it absolutely looks green!! Why!?

I loved your tutorial and followed it to a tee and my cups looked great. Then I sealed with the top coat and it turned yellow. I used a different sealer on the other one and it is fine. Anyway I can correct this now that I have sealed it.

have you done the wood grain tumbler on a tumbler that is already white? Ozark has the ones that are already white and i was wondering if spray painting makes a different rather than just buying the already white one?

Nope! Just wipe down with alcohol, let dry, and spray!

Great video! What to you do if you get epoxy on the inside of your cup? I’m having this issue and I usually cut it off once it dries but some epoxy lift ms from the lip of the cup.

You can hand turn it, but that can become exhausting and it may not be as leveled as it would be if you used a turner.

You will do several, super light mists. It protects but doesn’t coat like spray painting ☺️

Pinkjely -bean the latte from Tim Holtz is known to do that , best to test in a piece of paper by spraying the sealer then applying a streak of the brown you want to use

So I tried this and after letting the white dry for about 20 min I started applying the alcohol ink and it stripped the white paint off. Any ideas why? Thanks
