This video was posted the day I got my new MiniBrute 2S, and in the week I've had it, I've only become more enthusiastic about the device. Going though this video and the previous video dedicated to the 2S have helped a lot (along with videos from other RU-vidrs). I love the tricks to coax multiple voices out of this monosynth! My personal favorite trick I've exploited is switching the sequencer from "Int" to "Clk" and plugging an LFO in stepped-random mode into the clock input. If it were in square wave mode, it would run just like the normal clock, but in the random modes, it doesn't always get up to the level that's recognized as a gate - so you get strange bursts of notes in peculiar arhythms.

It is very refreshing to see a synth manufacturer happy to showcase modules from other manufacturers that compliment their equipment. The MiniBrute & RackBrute combination are great I have 2S and 3U (planning a 6U addition). The video was very informative and a great advert for the open minds at Arturia. Thanks.

I just ordered a mini brute 2s. This is my first sequencer. I mainly play guitar but the way I write music involves background sounds and a sequencer like this is perfect... I'm breaking out of metal and I'm getting into MPCs and synths. All of this is just fascinating to me.

Thank you so much for making this video! I learned more from this one video that all the others I have seen combined! This will be a great reference to look back on as I add more modules in the future. The best part is, the Minibrute 2S is such a robust platform to build from that it won't take much more to build the synth I dream of.

One of the best videos on this synth, I've had mine for 2 months and just bought an O-Coast for it to play with. Definitely want to get the 6U rackbrute at some point.

This is just a random idea, but I feel like arturia should sell eurorack type components for midi, so you could build your own control surface with just 100 sliders , or 10 sliders, 10 knobs, then the play stop record section

I have placed an order for minibrute 2 keyboard version since the sequence one was out of stock. Also, my other synths are desktop synths and this will be the first one with a keyboard. I will be replacing the 2S functionality with StepPolyArp on iPad. The app is polyphonic though. Let’s see how it goes!!!!

Always think arturia should make a complimentary rack to go with minibrute 2 or a vocoder or something very different like moogs rack units ?

I own an Arturia Minibrute 2 S and I was very temted to get the smaller rack too-I am a mere single bored \DJ and I am getting more and more knowledge on modular synth I missed this so replaying-how much would it cost just for the units that you fitted in your rack---plaus do I need to know how to solder or does it all slip in to a power lead then screw them in Please as I wishd I had gotten the rack now but Im considering going for it--Id want to set up best I can first and I suppose you can update the odd unit Thanks forr the video

Have you anything in works in biometric feedback that receive information with patches taped to the skin for when the body relaxes more with certain tones or oscillations are used ? Thank you , REVERBED

Hello, dear Arturia! Tell me please, is it possible to add the function that will allow to turn all the step encoders at the same time (simultaneously) vs to turn each step-encoder step by step? I mean to turn the velocity for example for all the steps in one moment, because it is not so friendly to turn each one separately.

Maxim Sannikov You can do it with a firmware upgrade. Press Shift while turning knob 1 or 2. Download last owner manual to know more about new functions. There are RU-vid tutorials too.

It works with velocity, gate and maybe shift values (don't remember last one).

I don't get why the minibrute 2 seems to get so little love, especially in terms of the semi-modular capabilities. So few videos of people doing anything interesting with it.

Maybe it's not that easy to program and use to make music people are excited to share ? It's no Microfreak but I'm sure some one can put the minibrute s2 to good use !?

Merci Arturia pour vos tutos. C'est vraiment super, mais quand on est un débutant, c'est difficile de suivre en anglais ( dommage ) et en plus: vos jeunes collaborateurs vont tellement vite dans leur manips... Car c'est leur domaine, perso, j'ai du mal à suivre jusqu'à la fin !... Et pourtant, j'ai un microfreak, un keystep 37 et un matrixbrute.... Obligé de regarder d'autres tutos tranquille en français comme Audiorial. Sorry. Mais ce gars explique super bien et tranquillement..
