Do you live near the lake. I’m in central Ohio. I try to make it up but sometimes weather and work don’t allow 🤷‍♂️ also do you run braid or mono?

Hey, your welcome! Thanks for watching, and don't forget to like, share, and subscribe 😊 I live 5hrs away in WV but grew up in southern Ohio. I use 10lb Trilene XT with a 20lb FC Sniper 4 ft leader. I don't like to use the braid because my setups pull triple double duty. I can troll bandits, or just simply disconnect my leader and troll a spoon or crawler harness with snap weights.

By the way, 10lb Trilene XT will pull in the biggest sheep head you've ever seen, and not miss a beat ...lol

I use those as well, also torpedo tournament hooks that I bought from Hi-way Bait and tackle. The hooks that come on the bandits catch fish but aren't as strong

@@livebig247 Sorry for the late reply. Had luck with jigs, Erie Dearies and worm rigs. Made my own rigs with fluorocarbon line and quality blades. Gold, nickle and perch were working. Could not find some of the smaller bead sinkers needed although my buddy got some 3/4 and one ounce and I ordered some 1 and half and two ounce. Also used bottom bouncers on the 25 feet or less waters. My planer boards where screwed up and need to order new ones. We did pretty good overall.

We spent six days fishing.

I am, but for an extremely different reason. In December of 2022, I was diagnosed with cancer. Since then I have had 2 surgeries, and am currently getting chemo and radiation at OSU James Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio. I've completed 5 weeks, with 2 weeks to go. My prayer is to be back and healthy enough to get back to my family duties, work, and back to making some good ol' lake Erie walleye videos! Not exactly the trip I was planning to Ohio this year, but Jesus will not allow me to go through what I'm not able to bear! I'm leaning on Him and trusting in Him. I know my testimony is in the building process 🙏. Thanks for reaching out to me. I love talking about walleye fishing during this process, definitely gets me going. Maybe when I'm back at it we can run out and even do a video! I'm going to post a video of my "bell ringing" ceremony after treatment is complete, so be sure to watch!.
