Why do you not cut the thread after the whip finish?

With a lot of flies when you have the fly finished you want to avoid the chance of cutting any part of the fly so it’s a good habit to not snip the thread, but to push the scissors through it. We hope that makes sense and all the best to you at the vise and on the water.
