i think arteta had klopp figured out to an extent the last 2 seasons, we beat them once across 5 games i think it was and that one win we got dominated at theirs in the FA cup, in football all managers have different ideologies and they seem to counter eachother, like klopps style beat peps for many years and it made pep uncomfortable. It’s too early to say of course but maybe slots style counters artetas directly, only issue is pep might prefer playing slot to klopp😭

The argument that Arsenal don't need a striker because they scored loads of goals last season without a proven no. 9 misses an important point: often it's not the amount of goals you score but when the goals are scored that makes the difference and wins you the title. A proven striker will score you goals at crucial moments in tight games. Scoring 5 or 6 goals past every other weak opponent can give you an impressive goal tally but in terms of points it's no different than winning those games 2-0 or 3-1.

It was a very good game, especially in the first half. I got a bit frustrated in the 2nd half, because our press wasn't working and we weren't able to keep hold of the ball, but I guess it's understandable for Arsenal to dominate, they had more senior players in the second half. Hopefully we can address the CDM position in the market as soon as possible, because it seems Endo can't be our main 6 in that system, he's just not that good with the ball, Bajcetic will need time and also doubts if Morton will be good enough. I would sell Kostas and buy a better LB as well, new CB and right winger that can cover and potentially replace Salah. That's what we need to be really competitive for top 4 and in best case scenario the title. Probably not this season though.

Lets not get carried away, it's a preseason game. Still it's better to win then lose even if it's just a preseason game.

Its not all about the results in these type of games. Its about trying out different things and trying not to pick up injuries.
