@@interstellarbeatteller9306 So did Klopp at times in his build. He had patches where they lost games. Do you think success is always linear? Did Poch ever have patches where he didn’t win games? The good teams back their manager through these tough times so that the team can improve. Also- why shouldn’t I compare Ange to Klopp? Did Klopp win endless titles with Dortmund or Mainz? He actually came 2nd in many of the finals he’s been in. Ange actually took a much harder route to get where he is.

Ange seems to be inflexible & is now basically saying they need to rebuild, when they bought 10 players this year & spent £250M. How much will it cost to buy players that don't need to be coached and can just play in the unexplainable but fantastical style of football Ange wants.

Conte had just tried to burn the house down on his way out. Tottenham played defensive football and had not won a title in donkeys years, so there were very few players if any with experience winning titles. Everyone at all levels of the club- fans, team and the board were angry with each other. Lost Harry Kane the day before the season started. Klopp inherited Brendan Rodgers team which had come 2nd a season or two before. BR played attacking football which meant Klopp didn’t have to transition from defensive football. The squad had players like Firmino, Henderson and a young Coutinho in it. He hasn’t bought 10 players for f**k sake. He had bought 5 players, brought in Werner on loan and re-signed Kulu and Porro. Most of the players costed £20-30 million. So he’s not exactly brought in a £70 million Van Dyke or £70 million Alison. 🤷🏻

Im a Brit, a Liverpool and i have been saying exactly the same to my Spurs supporting partner. The sqad is too small. get 3-4 decent players and youll be knocking on the title door. At the beginning of the season you were top of the league, then injuries and the asia and africa cups......Give him time!

As an Aussie, I am a little bias but why do spurs fans seem to think they've got some sort of god given right that they are a top team? I want to support spurs because of Ange but the fans one day are singing praise like they've found there pep and before you know it they think they they've got a ten hag 🥸

@@Neb-uj4xt most of the good results and points came in the first half of the season where he was an unknown commodity. Now everyone's found him out and he's super easy to set up against. That and his set pieces are abysmal and he refuses to work on them. He's a vibes manager, even Old finished second just off vibes.

Are failures at set pieces what is preventing them from vying for the title? What he is saying about not caring about them is not that they don't matter, he is saying that they are not the difference between Spurs challenging for the league. They could fix that issue and there would still be other issues to fix. So you set a mentality to a squad saying we are not one piece away from success, we have multiple areas to improve on and over doing one won't bring success.

Pep didnt adapt his tactics in season 1 - he got his players bedded in first before confusing them

The players at celtic weren't spoilt epl players. They played for the badge and didn't throw the towel in when things go wrong.

They can point to the owner, but its wrong to do so. They havent bought many players in last 2 seasons because of the new ground. I think Ange has lots of potential, at times in that game when the tactics worked spurs looked good. They just need 2/3 more players that fit into the pressing style
