I can remember (it never leaves you) walking into Anfield for the first time. Life changing and sent a shiver down my spine. It's not always been easy but regardless of my personal journey Liverpool have always been there. I have never felt alone even I dark times. True supporters of any team understand this and the empathy I have shared with supporters of other clubs endures. It's such a pity the way the game has turned where the badge counts for little over wages and agent's fees. Always proud to be a Red but dismayed at the minority of other club's fans who are bitter and seek only to fuel hatred. I respect teams like United but some of the comments by smaller clubs can be sickening. The main thing is to stay focused on us and let talent, inspiration and determination push us forward. Of course we would love the other two, frankly City should have had the PL sorted in January at the close run at the end was a bonus. No this was an opportunity for Liverpool supporters, to show their appreciation for the brilliant men's and women's teams. 3 trophies for the City there. In addition, the team never had the chance to celebrate their 19th League title success with the fans so it was much more than just two victories. It has to be expected that some will try mocking these achievements. This is just envy and we can be certain if the situation was reversed their fans would be delighted. To suggest the date was chosen to clash with the loss of 39 people is using their tragic loss and suffering to try to score a point. Those who do this obviously care nothing for those that died. I was 16 when it happened and it is never forgotten. I mention these points for anyone who might feel upset by negative comments so that they, you and the team know what they mean to this great club. Cheers mate.
