I watch a number of your interviews Billy, this particular one demonstrates what a down to earth, genuine woman Margi is. Very typical of the Liverpool people who have some very wise words and outlooks on life but are often not heard because of our accents and how we are painted by the media and other outlets. That said those in the know, know and many people outside our City takes us for what we are. Keep up the great work.

Margi is a great storyteller, but she needs to be pulled up on loads of things here. 1. The stuff about Catholic communities is way off the mark. 'Looked after our own', did that include the widespread sexual abuse of children by members of the Catholic church? What happened there, Margi? 2. What about all those poor young working class women who got pregnant in the 1950s and were forced to give up their kids? What did the Catholic priests do then? In plenty of cases those women, and it was never men, were forced out of their communities through some bizarre notion of shaming the family. How were those women helped? 3. Quit the 9/11 bullshit, your son spent years punting that shite, as well as a load of other nasty stuff. 4. Your claim about the heroin explosion is nonsense. Billy has had plenty of people on the programme who spoke about dealing drugs and destroying communities. It wasn't a Tory minister who did that. And Lord Gowrie was not Minister of Arts until 1983. That's 2 years after the Toxteth riots. 5. The two moons story in Dubai: they were a display by the UAE Government to mark that state's attempt to launch a probe into orbit. Nothing suspicious about it at all.

Margie played Mary Greenie (the part of my Great Grandmother) in my Aunty Carols play. Aka Cassie, Ebony from brookside. As usual, Margie stole the show with the leading role as my nan and smashed it. It makes me Very proud to know my dad wrote the song Mary Greenie while he was in prison and obviously didn't want to use my Great Grandmothers name Billy, so he used the name of one of the prison officers daughters lololol very true story. Well any ladies who can sit and talk with complete honesty. Really good of her to be so candid and also proves that these things can be beaten and the wisdom of her doing so has now being passed on. Back in Margi Clarke day the gear would of been expensive and not as common as it is now. Cocaine used to be very exclusive and kept as a up market drug.Whereas now a day's it's not and can be found very easily and the problem is social attitude has changed to make it feel acceptable to more young people. I feel sure Margi would agree with me if cannabis was legal and regulatory compliance system was in place it could save alot of youngsters going into harder drug's.

Met her once in Stanley Dock Market, she was selling face cream to prevent aging, I asked her does it work? 'Does it fuck' was the reply 😂😂😂 I bought some anyway as she was clearly down on her luck and needed dosh. She had a brew with us, and was just your typical warm, down to earth, tell it as it is Scouser.....Legend.

Interesting down to earth discussion about the times we have been living in. I worked in Liverpool back in the 90's at GPT Telecomms on Edge Lane and stayed in Mosley Hill. I recall the Liverpool people had a very quick sense of humour, always lightened the day. Margi did quite a good rendition of 'Fade to Grey' with Steve Strange, its on YT.
